For a database driven application this matters because shared CPU time can create inconsistent response times even when memory usage looks normal. With the selected configuration, processor performance remains stable during imports, scheduled jobs and parallel container workloads. The NVMe storage performs well with database transactions and large numbers of small files. Container images unpack quickly, PostgreSQL maintenance tasks complete without excessive disk wait and application logs do not create a noticeable bottleneck. This is more important for my workload than a large but slower storage volume.

Their communication showed no empathy, flexibility, or genuine concern for the customer. Rather than trying to regain the trust of a client affected by a serious incident, they seemed more interested in avoiding financial responsibility and collecting additional charges. Based on my experience, HOSTKEY does not treat its customers with respect and does not handle major incidents professionally. I cannot recommend this provider to anyone who needs reliable infrastructure, fair support, and accountability when problems occur.
