Good service!
I requested consultation, they attempted to call me several times but I never answered(totally my fault) but they definitely did try to reach me. Time...
differences just always had the calls coming in in the middle of the night for me. I figured out what I had needed. Thank you

Lousy Service
Squarespace sent me a questionnaire that said it was no longer available as soon as I clicked the unsatisfied button so let me create my own survey:...
Did the representative solve your problem? No Did the representative listen well enough to understand your problem? No Was the representative condescending? Yes Will you continue to use Squarespace services in the future? No a couple of months before my contract with Squarespace is up for renewal I will begin creating a site on an alternate platform. I am posting here because Squarespace is impossible to contact either by email or phone and redirects you to an annoying generic FAQ every time you try.

Do not even consider
I cannot warn people away from Bluehost enough. In the short time I've looked after a client who uses them I've seen: - The VPS server they use go...
down for days without any support - Support is clueless on tech support and just reverts to scripted responses or sending through help articles - No idea on plans, pricing and upgrades. Our plan was apparently legacy and we weren't able to upgrade without starting up a whole new account. We would then apparently get no refund on the old plan (which was only half through its term) and also no assistance migrating to the new account. Our account ran out of storage space and they offered us no solution to increase it. - Server constantly crashes and can't run our website with no explanation or help from support as to why. There's much more but these are the highlights. Even if you're just looking for simple hosting I would steer well clear and give your money to a hosting company that actually cares about its customers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bluehost good for making a website?

Bluehost is excellent for making a website, especially for beginners and WordPress users. It offers easy installation, reliable uptime, and scalable options to grow with your site. Its integration with WordPress and user-friendly cPanel make it a popular choice for various website projects.

What are the limitations of Bluehost?

Bluehost’s limitations include occasional upselling, which some users find bothersome, and performance can vary under heavy traffic. While it offers a range of plans, high-traffic sites might need to upgrade to more expensive options for optimal performance. Customer support response times can also fluctuate during peak times.

Do professionals use Squarespace?

Yes, professionals across various industries use Squarespace due to its sleek templates, intuitive drag-and-drop interface, and comprehensive set of tools. It’s favored for creating visually appealing websites without needing extensive coding knowledge, making it a popular choice for designers, artists, and small businesses.

What are the downsides of using Squarespace?

Squarespace’s downsides include less customization flexibility compared to platforms like WordPress, potentially higher costs for premium features, and limited third-party integrations. Its simplicity, while beneficial for ease of use, can restrict complex site functionality or specific customization needs.

Is Squarespace good for SEO?

Squarespace is reasonably good for SEO, offering essential tools and features such as customizable URLs, automatic sitemaps, and responsive design. However, SEO professionals might find it somewhat limiting compared to WordPress, where plugins like Yoast SEO offer more advanced optimization capabilities.

Is Squarespace easier to use than WordPress?

Squarespace is generally considered easier to use than WordPress due to its all-in-one platform approach, offering web design, hosting, and domain registration in a user-friendly interface. Does Squarespace host as well?

Do I need separate hosting for Squarespace?

No, you do not need separate hosting for Squarespace. Hosting is included with all Squarespace plans, providing a streamlined solution for building and managing your website on a single platform.

Can I use my own domain name with Squarespace?

Yes, you can use your own domain name with Squarespace. If you already own a domain, you can transfer it to Squarespace or connect it from another registrar while keeping Squarespace as your site host.

Is it free to transfer domain to Squarespace?

Transferring a domain to Squarespace is free, but you will need to renew your domain with Squarespace after the transfer. The renewal fee is part of maintaining your domain registration and keeping your site active.

Do Squarespace sites rank well?

Squarespace sites can rank well in search engines if optimized correctly. Squarespace provides a solid foundation for SEO, but ranking well also depends on content quality, keyword optimization, and other SEO best practices. Users who actively apply these strategies can achieve strong search engine visibility with Squarespace.
