I host a blog site http://digitalbhat.com with GoDaddy and found it satisfactory. I recommend this host to all on merit basis and overall experience I had with the service provider.

After 15 years they blocked my email account, then I went to log into my account but their 2-factor authentication had an old land line phone number and the blocked email address. It took over an hour to get a live body on th... More e phone and then it was I can't do this and I can't do that. They made me email a copy of my D/L and wait...3 days. I never did get my email back. These guys used to be okay, now they just suck. Less

Winner: One.com

Michael Lavnduski Expert Hosting Writer & Tester

GoDaddy and One.com are both affordable hosting options that are primarily focused on helping entry level webmasters get the hosting they need. Both companies provide users with a free domain name when using their hosting, but One.com actually has a free hosting option. The quality of hosting with One.com, however, is quite questionable as they only have an average user review score of 4.8 out of 10. GoDaddy is ranked better (5.9/10) and has lots of extra options available. They are also one of the best known domain name registration companies in the industry, which helped us make the decision to name them as winner of this comparison.
