ech. We have been using APlus and the predecessors for some 20 years. We have had maybe 5 hours downtime and no major issues. APlus may not be great, but for us it has proven to be 99.9% reliable and extremely cheap ($9.00 month legacy plan for 8 active websites). The only issue is that they offer premium Comodo SSL certificates, which makes it more expensive for https (typically $90 a year). The good part to the Comodo certs is that they include lots of extras not available with plain vanilla ssl.

on. Good luck resizing or thumbnailing images if you are on a shared plan. I checked usr/local/bin to see what shared libraries were still left and they pretty much wiped out everything. When I contacted tech support they arrogantly responded that there is no guarantees regarding any software support. Heck, why not just remove php and perl while you're at it guys! Run don't walk from these clowns.
When it comes supporting business needs Fastcomet totally failed. Especially their email services facing downtime for some kind of reason.
