Hostinger vs Webflow (2026): Which Website Builder Is Better?

Hostinger vs Webflow (2026 Comparison) which should you choose?

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I export my website and move it to another platform?

Hostinger does not allow you to export your website if you built it with their Website Builder. Your site is locked to their platform. Webflow lets you export clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code on any paid Workspace plan, giving you full ownership and portability. However, dynamic CMS content must be exported separately, and forms stop working after export. If platform independence matters to you, Webflow offers significantly more freedom.

What happens to my site if I stop paying for hosting?

With Hostinger, your site goes offline immediately if you cancel your plan, and your content may be deleted after a grace period. Webflow handles this differently: if you downgrade from a paid Site plan to the free Starter plan, your site reverts to a webflow.io domain and becomes view-only, but all your content remains intact in the Designer. You can continue editing and republish later by upgrading again.

Can I add custom code to either platform?

Hostinger offers basic custom code support, allowing you to add JavaScript or HTML snippets via the integrations menu, but customization is limited. Webflow provides professional-level custom code capabilities. You can embed JavaScript, CSS, and HTML anywhere on your site, use custom attributes, integrate external APIs, and build complex interactions.

Which platform scales better as my business grows?

Hostinger works well for small to medium-sized websites but has limitations: you’re capped at 1,000 eCommerce products, URL customization is restricted, and there’s no 301 redirect support for site restructuring. Webflow scales significantly better with unlimited CMS items (on higher plans), full URL control, advanced eCommerce capabilities (separate plan required), API access for custom integrations, and multi-site management in Workspaces.
