Worst experience ever
I bought the plan from Hostinger on Thursday, 16th may. Before putting the migration request for my main domain and subdomain I spoke to your customer...
success team. I had a couple of hours talk with the lady regarding the migration as I am new here. I categorically mentioned that my domain printbaz.com is a wordpress site and subdomains merchants.printbaz.com and merchantadmin.printbaz.com are coded in javascript. Nobody ever told me that I have to obtain "VPS plan" for this. Days passed by, I spoke to almost all the customer success employees over the chat that takes half an hour to even initiate a conversation with a human, only to know its the problem with nameserver. I changed the nameserver and got back to hostingers customer success team again as asked by them. In the meantime, I inform them that as soon as I got the email from Hostinger, I let my old hosting provider know that it has been migrated so they can suspend the service now. Little did I know that it was just the begining of my suffering with Hostinger. I can not login to my admin panel, customers can not login and place orders. My business is just stuck ever since I got the migration email confirmation from Hostinger . One of the customer success agents from Hostinger suggested me to wait until the nameserver is changed as she thought it might fix the issue. No, it didn’t. 3 days passed going back and forth with Hostinger. On the 19th of May I got to speak to a brand new customer success agent from Hostinger who by the way informed me that I need to opt for VPS planning to use javascript or mongodb database which none of the previous employees including the first one had any idea about. I got frustrated and ask her why she is telling me this 3 days after the Migration. She definitely had no answer to this. She said she would create an issue for the migration team to look into the matter as I have struggled so much for this. Today, 20th may, 5th day with Hostinger. My subdomains are still not letting me in due to the database issue. And the ticket created to look into this matter telling me that if I want to use mongodb as database, I have to opt for VPS planning. This has been my experience with Hostinger

Arnaque, passez votre chemin!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference between AWS and Hostinger?

Hostinger is a traditional host. Whereas, AWS is a cloud host. As a cloud host, AWS doesn’t dedicate a specific amount of resources to each plan. Instead, it automatically allocates resources based on real-time demands. This means AWS is much more efficient than Hostinger.

2. Is Hostinger cheaper than AWS?

Hostinger offers the most affordable hosting plans in the market. For just $1.99 per month, you can host your website on Hostinger (with limitations, of course). AWS uses a pay-as-you-use model. The amount you pay is based on the total amount of resources you use over a period of one month or year.

3. What are some great Hostinger and AWS alternatives?

Some good Hostinger alternatives are Hostinger, InMotion, Namecheap, and BlueHost. Some good AWS alternatives are Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
