Finally, I ran a 1-minute CPU stress test using all 8 cores to see if the server could hold up under sustained load.

Compared to the VPS, the dedicated server’s raw CPU events/sec were lower, but this makes sense given the architecture: the VPS had more virtual CPU cores (8 vCPU), while this dedicated machine has 4 physical cores with hyperthreading (8 threads).
What stood out, though, was the consistency. Latency hovered around 2 ms with very little deviation, showing that the physical cores are delivering predictable performance without the “noisy neighbor” effect you sometimes get in VPS environments.
For businesses that value reliability in CPU cycles, such as steady application hosting or transactional databases, this consistency is often more valuable than headline speed.
2. RAM Test
Next, I tested memory throughput using sysbench with a 10 GB write test. This checks how fast data can move in and out of RAM, a critical factor for caching and running memory-intensive processes.

These results were lower than I expected for an NVMe-backed dedicated machine. It’s possible the test was running against a fresh partition or limited by caching settings. While latency was reasonable (95th percentile around 3 ms), the throughput numbers suggest that either the configuration wasn’t fully optimized or the test was constrained by how sysbench interacts with single-threaded disk operations.
In practical terms, for most website workloads (WordPress, CMS, small databases), the performance would still be fine, but for heavier I/O tasks like file servers or large transactional databases, I’d want to double-check with fio or tune the disk setup further.
4. Network Speed Test
I also tested network performance with Speedtest CLI against a server in Helsinki.
Result:
Download: 3394 Mbps (~3.3 Gbps)

Latency: 42 ms

WordPress Hosting Performance
To get a real-world sense of how ZYNOO performs beyond synthetic benchmarks, I tested a WordPress website hosted on their platform. This wasn’t just a blank installation. The site had content, plugins, images, and even embedded videos.
