My Experience with Scalacube’s Minecraft Server (3GB RAM)
When I got a 3GB Minecraft server through Scalacube, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an awesome experience! Setting up the server was super easy; their control panel walked me through everything, and within minutes, I was customizing settings and adding plugins.
Once the server was up, I invited all my friends, and we jumped straight into our world. We played for hours, building massive bases, exploring caves, and battling mobs together. The 3GB of RAM was perfect for our needs—there were about 8 of us online at a time, and everything ran smoothly. Even with a few plugins for fun minigames and quality-of-life improvements, there were no noticeable lags or crashes.
The server stayed up consistently, and the connection was stable for everyone, even for friends playing from different parts of the country. We had so much fun messing around, and Scalacube’s easy subdomain feature made it simple to share the server name.
Overall, I loved the experience! It was a great way to hang out with friends, and Scalacube’s service made it all hassle-free. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to host a server for so
Used them for several months. The backup service was unreliable, after repeated support tickets they managed to fix it. All backups would get deleted every X days, instead of only the oldest one.
Stopped using them when i wanted to downgrade my server to a lower plan. Their management tool does not allow this. Requires you to order a new server plan, and copy everything over. Upgrading your server ofc does work. And if you paid the "one time fee" for backups, then they require you to pay that again for the "new" server.
That's when i noticed every month i'd been overcharged a little. I inquired why this was. got told it was "VAT" (Tax). despite their own invoice clearly showing it was not. They lied and never came clean.

Easy to use and great customer service! I had no experience with running a Minecraft Server prior to this one. Within the first 2 hours my server was running and I had all of my mods installed and working on the server. Although the servers went down about 2 nights ago, they immediately offered a couple extra days onto my current subscription!! Cant beat that!
I think it is a very cheap server that works well if you want a small server running with a few friends most servers i saw were over 12 dollars a month whereas scalacube is 6 dollars a month. Maybe the quality may be less than other servers but i think it is a great server for it's price.
