Why two tests, from two different continents? Jump.BG’s infrastructure runs out of Sofia, Bulgaria, and GTmetrix doesn’t have a test node in Sofia itself, so Frankfurt is the closest major test location to the actual server and gives a realistic best-case reading for nearby European traffic. The 12-point Performance gap between the two locations is the clearest signal here, and the Largest Contentful Paint tells the same story from a different angle: 1.0s from Frankfurt versus 2.5s from San Antonio.
Google’s own threshold for a “good” LCP score is 2.5s or under, so the Frankfurt result sits comfortably inside it while the US result lands right on the boundary rather than clearly inside it.

This is where the distance penalty shows up in specific, explainable terms. Connect time alone jumps from 123ms to 497ms, and TTFB nearly triples, from 275ms to 788ms.
Both are consistent with a single-region server: the request has to physically travel from Texas to Sofia and back before the page can even start rendering, and there’s no way around that with a single-location account.
For readers, this breaks down into two practical scenarios:
One limitation worth flagging directly: Jump.BG’s four data center options at signup, Bulgaria, the UK, Germany, and France, are all European.
There’s no US or other non-European region to pick instead, so a reader whose audience is concentrated in North America or Asia doesn’t have a way to shorten that distance within Jump.BG’s own lineup the way they could with a host offering global regions.
For a European audience, Jump.BG’s Blogger Ultra plan delivers strong numbers: 84% GTmetrix Performance, a 1.0s LCP, and a page fully loaded in 3.2 seconds from Frankfurt, all comfortably within Google’s “good” thresholds. The picture changes for visitors further away. From San Antonio, Performance drops to 72%, LCP nearly doubles to sit right at the edge of the “good” range, and TTFB nearly triples due to the physical distance to Sofia.
None of this points to a badly configured server, the CLS score stayed at a clean 0 in both tests and the underlying page construction didn’t change, it’s a distance-to-server tradeoff you’d see with any single-region host, and one you can’t route around since all four of Jump.BG’s data center options are in Europe.
If your traffic is European, this plan performs well above the shared hosting average. If a meaningful share of your visitors are outside Europe, budget for the slower end of these numbers rather than the Frankfurt result, since there’s currently no closer regional option to fall back on.

I went through the Jump.BG order process the way a new customer would, from the homepage through plan selection, domain setup, and checkout, then into the cPanel environment that comes with an active account. Here is what that process looks like, and where it stood out from other shared hosts I have tested.

That level of transparency about actual resource limits, shown plainly rather than buried in a knowledge base article, is something a lot of shared hosts avoid doing because the real limits often undercut the “unlimited” language on the marketing page. WordPress Manager by Softaculous and Social Media Management both appear as standalone items in the left sidebar, outside the main Tools grid, which puts one-click access to WordPress management and social tools a single click away from anywhere in the panel rather than requiring a scroll through the Software section.
Softaculous itself carries a wide script library, from CMS platforms and forums to gaming, image galleries, and ad management tools, which extends this plan well past a WordPress-only use case if you decide to run something else on the same account.
Getting from the Jump.BG homepage to a working hosting account is a short process with a few useful decision points along the way: a language switch on arrival, a domain step that doesn’t force a transfer, and a Configure page that puts data center location, billing cycle, and add-ons in front of you before you pay rather than after. The WordPress Support upsell screen at checkout is worth being ready for, but it’s easy enough to skip.
Where this plan separates itself is inside cPanel. The article is a three-step walkthrough: locate the site’s root directory via FTP or File Manager, open or create the .htaccess file, then add one of several code blocks depending on which PHP version you want, with 5.2 through 8.4 all covered individually.
It links back to a separate article for changing the PHP version account-wide, and closes with a set of related articles (shared hosting basics, changing the root domain, SMTP settings, file permissions, cPanel login) that all make sense as a next step for someone reading this one.
