Sysbench’s memory benchmark writes and reads data blocks as fast as possible to test RAM throughput.

This is double the throughput of the Bangalore VPS, showing that the Houston node’s RAM is faster or configured differently. That translates to faster caching, database performance, and in-memory operations. Applications that keep a lot of data in memory (like Redis or large PHP processes) will benefit from this speed.

After setting up my account and exploring the dashboard, I wanted to evaluate DigiRDP’s support. Good customer support is essential for any hosting provider because it’s what you rely on when something breaks or when you need guidance.

I opened one of these popular articles, “How to Generate an SSH Key in Windows: A Step-by-Step Guide,” to get a feel for the content quality. The article started by explaining what an SSH key is and why it’s used. It then walked me through installing PuTTY on Windows with numbered steps, such as double-clicking the installer and following prompts.
After that, it explained how to generate a new SSH key using PuTTYgen, starting from the Windows Start menu. The written instructions remained explicit and actionable, making it easy to follow along.

In the “Configure Server” section I entered a hostname and set a root password (or I could have generated one automatically). I skipped “Additional Services” at the bottom since I didn’t need extras.
Throughout all of this, a dynamic “Order Summary” panel on the right updated instantly with my selections and total price. After checking everything over, I clicked “Continue.” The summary now showed $7.35 USD, reflecting the quarterly billing and backup add-on.
