For many years, I hosted several websites with all inkl. The provider detected an issue with one of my websites in December in a regular virus scan, but failed to send an alert (and I verified well that this was not a problem on my end). Since then, a virus spread throughout multiple sites. They then finally send me a message 22 days later (!) and proceed to block my full account after 2.5 weeks. So I came back from holidays to find ALL websites down, backups unavailable. Support then proceeds to blame me for not updating the sites, and for not reacting to an issue that I had no knowledge of. The story told changes with every message. A simple email alert would have been enough to limit the damage and downtime. If you are looking for a reliable provider, please go somewhere else.
I am hosting my sites at all-inkl for 2 years now and overall seems to be fair enough until some problems came up . A downtime of the server happend and I asked for information about the fix and about the problem. Then I realised there is NO support at all. I kept receiving an automated email saying that they need our understanding and they do not have a clue about the time of the fix. The downtime problem kept for 3-4 hours (!) an was without online system and I couldn't work.
Then I was in need of changing an email account quota. That was another disaster. A simple change quota of an email account which all hosting providers support, was not supported by all-inkl. I asked them to buy more space or change hosting plan but the answer was NO and they stopped answering my support tickets.
So I suppose that the company is suitable only for amateurs with small needs. I you need a profesional approach, you should have a second thought.
Increased price by over 200% because 8MB over limit ...
I used all-inkl.com as a host for my german domains for over 11years. The domains were pretty much only parked and used for 2 email accounts. After I went over my storage limit by 8MB the host decided to cancel my small plan I had and put me on a 50GB plan (as they suggest that is what I need) and started charging me over 200% more. (Unfortunately I didn't get their warning emails (my fault) and the automated process was to put me on a pricey plan.)
I wrote to the service and asked for options but they were not helpful and just told me that I can't get my old plan back. So I decided quickly to move on ... ah well ... I contacted the service only once in 11 years and that was not a great experience. I would not like to see if I had a "real" problem with a live website.
The availability and speed was pretty good over the 10 years ... a few small outages for my email ... but as a private account it was ok. The features in the plans are great and it is value when you use it all. But hopefully you stick to their rules and don't go 8MB over your limit!
The UI of their system is very 80s and outdated (so is the storage limitations). It was easy to find a cheaper option.
I've had a site with All-INKL for a long time and have been pretty happy. They work hard when you submit a ticket, and they keep their prices low. I'd say they are one of the best choices in Germany for any type of website. My site did go down a couple times that I have noticed, but it has always come back up quickly so it is no big deal.
When I signed up it was free for the first month due to some deal so I gave them a try. I love that they are in Germany, which was important to me. I can happily report that I haven't had any problems. My site is easy to get to, it is always up and running and I am very happy with this company.
