With the Email Essentials plan, you get a domain-based email, 10GB of storage for email, contacts, and calendars, sync across all devices, shared online calendars, and availability to up to 400 email addresses.
Next, the Email Plus plan offers the same properties as the Email Essentials plan. However, this plan offers more storage of up to 50GB.
And finally, the Business Professional plan offers many more properties than the other two plans. This plan provides the same properties as the Email Plus plan, with the addition of secure online storage via OneDrive, Office apps such as Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel.
You will get the desktop version of the Office apps on up to 5 PCs or Macs with updated versions of Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the online versions of Office apps to create and edit Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel docs from your browser and view and edit documents with Office mobile apps on iOS, Android or Windows devices.

You can also get the plans from the following screen—the advanced and professional email hosting plans.

And now it’s time for my purchase; enough theory, let’s test everything in practice. As usual, I will buy the cheapest one, the Individual plan. When you click on the Add to Cart button and go to your cart, you will see the following screen.
When you click on the ‘I’m Ready to Pay’ button, and if you do not have an account, you will see the following screen.

After you fill in your information and save them, you should fill in your payment detail information if you are paying with a Credit or Debit Card.

Once my email was set up, GoDaddy sent an email to my account to notify me. Then, the dashboard was set up like in the following screen.
Now, you should sign in to your email.
Before you continue to your email account, GoDaddy will ask you to select your time zone, providing plenty of options from which you can choose.
Then, GoDaddy displayed a notification of what is new in the version, such as Improved “Connect your device” Wizard, which features simplified device selection, as well as the use of QR codes to make setting up your device more accessible, then Saving Email Drafts, with which your email drafts will automatically be saved in the draft folder and will be available on all your devices, and Navigation Improvements, where the top navigation area has been redesigned to make accessing apps, help, and settings more accessible.

GoDaddy
Security and Backups
Security is an essential point to consider when purchasing an email hosting provider. GoDaddy offers world-class security. Your email will stay safe with its spam and virus filters and excellent security. They will block every unwanted, potentially dangerous email every day.
GoDaddy will not access or share any of your data at any time or deliver ads during your online experience. They provide an intuitive interface for keeping up with your email accounts. You will get 256-bit encryption and enhanced privacy protection with each email account. GoDaddy Security provides 24/7 security. Their security team monitors the network 24/7 to block suspicious activity and protect against cyberattacks, offering several options for passwords.
The three most common email security threats that you need your provider to protect you against are malware, which is any malicious software, including viruses, designed to damage or disable your computer or network, then ransomware, which captures and locks down your system until you pay the person who created it, and lastly phishing, which counterfeits emails that deceptively ask you to provide your password, or credit card information.
GoDaddy offers encryption email, and besides the encryption, Advanced Email Security will give you anti-phishing and anti-virus features, spam blockers, and more.
So, GoDaddy will make sure that you send secure emails. Their encryption reduces data loss by auto-encrypting your outbound emails. Their outbound filtering will protect your reputation by blocking outbound spam, viruses, and malicious links from reaching your customers’ inboxes, and their advanced content filtering can alert you and prevent sensitive information from leaving your business.
GoDaddy will also make sure you receive secure Emails. Their powerful anti-virus protection will block all known viruses before they reach your network, their targeted attack defense will prevent accidental downloading of infected attachments, their URL-targeted attack defense will prevent phishing scams that contain malicious links, and you will get proactive tools like on-demand content filtering to enforce email communication policies, disaster recovery to maintain access to email during downtime and zero-hour protection against new virus variant releases.
GoDaddy provides backup and automatically saves your mailbox to avoid losing your emails. They will automatically make a snapshot of your mailbox, calendar, and attachments up to 6 times a day. The only thing you need to do is set your autosave schedule. You can also restore your mailbox, contacts, calendar, and events, including tasks, notes, and journal.
In addition, you can retrieve your Email because GoDaddy captures and backups your entire mailbox from day one.
Customer Support
You might know how to use an email, but it does not mean that you will not encounter any problems and have some questions regarding your email hosting plan. So having 24/7 support from your email hosting provider is essential.
GoDaddy is a provider that has an expert support team that will be ready and available for you 24/7/365 to answer your questions and help with everything you need.
With GoDaddy, you don’t need to know about SMTP relays or MX records to create a business email because GoDaddy’s expert support will be here for you whenever you need something.

You can call them at any time and speak to an email expert agent—an actual person, and not an automated message. In addition, GoDaddy has a help center that provides a rich support section of articles and videos.
GoDaddy will also help you migrate your existing Email hosting account to their platform and help you set up your email hosting accounts on all of your devices.
So, I checked their customer support out and messaged their agent on the chat support.
First, a bot responded, connecting me to an agent.
I received an answer within minutes.
I asked for a refund on my account, and the agent asked for my PIN and customer number. The agent also sent me a helpful link with instructions on finding the PIN in my account.
After I gave them my information, they took a few minutes to check it.
The agent informed me that the Professional Email Individual plan is not eligible for a refund. They can only provide a refund to this plan within the first 48 hours of purchasing it. However, after I explained to them that my professional email account took six days to set up, they did agree to give me a refund.
They kept me waiting for some time, but they confirmed with me and informed me that I would receive my refund in the next five to seven days.
Compatibility and Flexibility
Every business starts somewhere, and if your business gets bigger, your email hosting needs will get more prominent. GoDaddy is a hosting provider that will grow alongside your business and your business and needs. And the plans they provide will do the same.
GoDaddy’s intuitive webmail portal will allow you to manage your digital space. You will be able to preview the attachments you get and will be able to view the contents of the email attachment without syncing the application across all devices. GoDaddy will always have your latest emails, contacts, and appointments at your fingertips.
However, they will sync all your devices. Microsoft 365, from their email services, works with Outlook, Apple Mail, and other programs to keep all your devices up to date and synced. You can stay in sync with the calendar and add new appointments, transfer events from other calendar apps, send invitations, and set reminders on all your devices so you will always be on top of your obligations.
The Office mobile apps include the most popular apps: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They are available with the Business and Business Professional plan. They also include a valid license for up to 5 iPads or Windows tablets, 5 PCs or Macs, for a single user.
Using the Microsoft apps, you could manage appointments with Bookings and keep organized with Outlook. You will also get Microsoft Teams and will be able to host web conferences, share and collaborate with integrated Office apps.
Storage
You are probably purchasing an email hosting account because you get a lot of emails. In addition to the communication purpose, you need your email account for storage and collaboration.
There is nothing worse than having to search through many emails trying to find some to delete so you can make some more space for the important emails you will receive. GoDaddy offers plans that have a lot of storage for your email, contacts, and shared calendars. When you create a business email on GoDaddy, you will always have space and won’t have to delete any emails to make some extra space.
GoDaddy’s plans offer up to 50 GB of storage per user, which will give you a lot of room to store all the important emails you get and need to keep.
Availability and Uptime
Everyone that purchases an email hosting plan expects it to be fast and reliable.
GoDaddy has become a very reliable email host. Their expert team will keep your server secure and monitor it, ensuring they stay up to their guaranteed uptime rates of 99.9% or better. GoDaddy’s email plans are backed by Microsoft’s 99.9% uptime guarantee and 24/7 support.
In addition, you get faster page load times and a simple 1-click installation of WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and more.
While GoDaddy offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee, If the service provides you with anything less than 99% uptime, you can request a refund for the affected month and may be eligible for a discount.
