Pax8 announces the acquisition of Resello, a Netherlands-based cloud services distributor specialized in making as-a-service easy to understand, sell, and manage to expand its international reach.

Pax8 aims to completely transform the ways businesses are buying, selling, or managing the cloud. Essentially, it’s a born-in-the-cloud business that intends to facilitate the purchase process for its partners. In turn, it allows them to achieve more with the same cloud technology.

Some of Pax8’s services include billing, provisioning, automation, PSA connectors, pre-and post-sales support, and education.

John Street, who serves the role of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Pax8, had this to say:

Digital transformation has never been more urgent, and we are helping partners realize the benefits, value, and impact to businesses. The acquisition enables us to continue to expand our presence into international markets, add localized support, and accelerate and scale cloud adoption worldwide.

John Street also added:

We are excited to welcome the Resello team. We look forward to the incredible work we will do together.

Resello is a well-established company with headquarters in the Netherlands and a regional office in Germany. More precisely, it spans over 40 European nations and supports partners in 15 languages.

Founded in 2013, Resello is also an authorized Microsoft CSP Indirect Provider and cloud services distributor.

Resello’s automation platform enables MSPs, VARs, Systems Integrators, ISVs, and other IT resellers to operate their cloud companies by accelerating digital transformation. It allows partners to manage clients, provide products, and track use in one location, including Microsoft 365, Windows Virtual Desktop, Azure, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, and Vade for M365.

All of this combined makes Resello the perfect choice for Pax8. The acquisition will allow Pax8 to expand its reach in the European market significantly and do so fast.

Harald Nuij, who serves the role of a Managing Director at Resello, had this to say:

As a fast-growing organization with a shared vision of accelerating cloud growth in the IT market, we are excited about the Pax8 acquisition. This alignment provides us with more resources to solve the challenges our partners face in the digital age so they can better automate, add value, and reach new growth trajectories. Together, we will be able to expand our partner base and have the technology and resources to meet the growing market demand for enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Still, no party disclosed the financial terms of the acquisition to the public.
