Google Cloud and Minsait have expanded their strategic alliance to offer enhanced trusted cloud solutions for Spanish organizations in the public and private sectors.

This joint offering will utilize the latest encryption, access, transparency, and data location technologies. It will be launched in 2022 and supported by Google’s new cloud region in Madrid.
The expanded collaboration will allow public and private Spanish organizations to accelerate their digital transformation. At the same time, they will meet the highest levels of trust, security, privacy, and sovereignty. Furthermore, due to Google’s efforts and investments in sustainability and carbon-free electricity, the entities will also lower their carbon footprint. All this combined will deliver one of the industry’s cleanest clouds.
The Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation (SEDIA) also supports the initiative.
Carme Artigas, who serves the role of a Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, had the following to say:
“Citizens and organizations must have control over their data and benefit from the availability of a sovereign cloud in Europe for the growth of a digital economy and sovereignty. This strategic partnership with a Spanish firm is a positive move in the right direction.”
