3DS OUTSCALE Is Going Global, Expanding Beyond French Borders

French cloud computation pioneer 3DS OUTSCALE is intensively working on its strategy to expand on global markets and constantly underlining its ambition to export the company’s public cloud outside their country.

3DS OUTSCALE is a subsidiary of the software solution giants Dassault Systèmes. Recently, the company got the SecNumCloud qualification from the National Cybersecurity Agency of France, which comes as no surprise since they are committed to meeting the highest compliance standards by having their organization and infrastructure certified by trusted third parties. Apart from this, the award also implies the human values in the company. Several worthy mentions at this point are its ethics, solidarity, equality, and social responsibility.

3DS relies on its state-of-art technology, which corresponds to the most rigorous standard. The provider ensures data sovereignty and security in each target market by forming companies in line with the local rules in the countries where the companies are located. Thus, it fulfills the promise of being a multi-local, trusted cloud.

Now, 3DS OUTSCALE is accelerating its strategy to conquer world markets or export beyond the French borders. This comes to a short while after 3DS opened their Asian hub, Outscale K.K., which enabled the deployment of its offer in three data centers around Tokyo.

David Chassan, who serves the role of a Chief Strategy Officer at 3DS OUTSCALE, had the following to say:

The adoption of Cloud Computing and the huge potential for the growth of the global market puts us in a strong position. We want to make 3DS OUTSCALE the reference in terms of sovereign and trusted cloud for private or public organizations who want to ensure that their data is stored in complete security. Our internationalization proves that we are aware of the innovations that form our ecosystem today. This approach fosters the ambition to meet the needs of the markets addressed as well as possible, but also to identify the promising technologies of tomorrow.

Furthermore, 3DS’ desire for a strong global acceleration of its cloud service reflects the global public cloud market outlook. According to a recent report by Gartner, in 2024, spending on public cloud services is expected to account for 14,2% of the global IT spending.

3DS OUTSCALE is also developing software designed to orchestrate and automate all of the Cloud resources. This software is called TINA OS and guarantees complete control of the cloud.
