Today you can use Turnkey Internet for shared hosting, dedicated hosting and cloud hosting. They also offer software as a service products and more. The company is ‘100% green’ meaning that they use all renewable energy, which is a nice advantage. Overall, this is a good quality hosting provider with a lot of nice benefits.
The hosting with this company is very stable. From what I can tell people are very happy with the stability of this hosting provider and they even have a 100% uptime guarantee for their network. This is likely because they use such high quality hardware (including SSDs) so there won’t be any outages caused by that. In addition, they are housed in a very nice data center that has redundant power and network connections.
As you look through the hosting options they offer you will see that there are some nice features included. You can opt for either Linux or Windows, even for their shared hosting solution, which is nice. They do only offer two hosting packages for each OS with shared hosting, so that is a little disappointing. The two options, however, are both pretty nice. First, they have solid state drive storage, so that will help to ensure fast response times. They also allow unlimited disk space and bandwidth.
If you want a VPS, this company does offer those as well. This is a newer service, but they seem to have hit the ground running in this area too. The features are right in line with what you would expect to see with most other hosting providers, so that is very nice. There are three options when it comes to their VPS solutions. It is good to note that their VPS solutions are cloud based, and on some areas are listed as cloud hosting.
Finally, their dedicated servers you can choose from either their normal dedicated servers, which are mid-level servers or their overstock servers, which are a bit older but still nice. As you would expect, the overstock servers come at a good discount.
The technical support with this company is quite good. They can provide you with high quality assistance for just about any type of issue you may be having. They are available 24/7 via a ticketing system or live chat or phone. In addition they offer a number of nice tutorials to help you get up to speed and learn more about how to properly manage a website on their hosting.
The pricing with this company is pretty reasonable. The one thing that many people won’t like is that they really push you into longer term agreements. For example, to get the advertised prices for shared hosting you need to pre-pay for three years. This is a very long time and while most hosting companies offer discounts for 1+ year of pre-payment, this is taking it a little far. They do, however, allow month to month payments if you choose that option.
One thing to mention is that their overstock servers are very inexpensive. They change based on availability, but right now you can get a dedicated server with 4 CPU cores and 8 gigs of RAM for just $29 per month. This is a great deal.
This is a very nice hosting company that will be able to meet the needs of most people. You do need to watch your payment options and look around for the best package for the price, but with a little work up front you can get a high quality hosting solution at a great price.
