Okay, it’s not perfect – but it’s pretty close! These are some of the best performance results from any of the hosting providers I’ve tested, with amazing response times and low load times.

Performance is important, but when you run into that first inevitable issue, you’re going to want great support too. 

RoseHosting offers live support, phone lines, as well as a ticketing system for direct support.

Live Chat

First, you’re asked to fill in all the usual details – name, question, and support type (sales or technical). 

Once I’d done this, I was transferred to a support agent in less than a minute. The agent introduced himself, and answered my question without any extra faff required (though this did take a couple of minutes, even for a simple question).  

While the live chat could be a bit quicker, it’s a great choice for straightforward questions or account queries. 

Phone and Email

You can call the RoseHosting support team via a variety of numbers (depending on your location). 

And from the bottom of the home page, under Contact Us, you can also email the RoseHosting support team directly. 

Ticketing System

The response time for a support ticket is typically within half an hour, but this option offers the most detailed answers and is recommended for serious issues. Customers will have more extensive support, especially if they use any of the Linux VPS or dedicated server plans.

Knowledge Base

Unfortunately, the RoseHosting knowledge base is empty or broken. It doesn’t display anything, which really hinders users who might be looking for a quick-fix or self-help solution. 

Ease of Use

RoseHosting’s hosting plans are fully managed, and many processes, such as app installation and backup systems, are entirely automated – this makes it easy to use for both beginners and developers who don’t have time for server management.

But let’s see how that actually looks in practice.

Setting up your account with RoseHosting is easy. Head to the website, and choose your preferred hosting type. 

Check all the details are correct before continuing, then add your domain name and operating system. 

Include any details for pre-install preferences, and additional services or addons. Make sure you don’t miss anything important here! 

Check the details, and add your payment information. 

You’ll also need to provide all the usual personal details. 

Finally, enter any notes or additional context for your order and checkout when you’re done!

The whole thing took a few minutes, then I was ready to sign in to the control panel. 

Control Panel

Users can choose from three free control panel options: DirectAdmin, WHM/cPanel, and Hestia. However, those on smaller servers (with less than 2 GB of RAM) only have access to DirectAdmin.

Choose whichever control panel interface you’re most familiar with for convenience, or select the interface that best suits your current project. I’d recommend DirectAdmin for beginners, and WHM/cPanel for more advanced functionality and support.

Installing WordPress on RoseHosting

RoseHosting makes installing WordPress super easy via Softaculous. However, this is a paid feature. 

Alternatively, you can get the WordPress hosting plan – with which you’ll get WordPress pre-installed.

RoseHosting allows you to add unlimited email accounts to your website. You can do so yourself or by contacting the support agents to help you.

Conclusion: Do We Recommend RoseHosting?

So, let’s get to the point – do I recommend RoseHosting services? In short, absolutely! 

While a lack of data centers outside of the United States might give some users pause to begin with, my tests have shown that RoseHosting servers perform well globally. Performance is naturally optimized in the US closer to data centers, but response and load times were amazing even here in the UK. 

RoseHosting services may not be the cheapest on the market, but you’re paying for real quality and performance, as well as 24/7 customer support in case anything goes wrong. And what’s more? There are no hidden fees or increased renewal prices.
