PanamaServer is, as the name implies, based out of Panama. They are a hosting company that has shared, VPS and dedicated hosting options. Their VPS packages include cloud hosting options too, so they really have all the different types of services available. In addition, they are a domain registrar and they also offer some web design services. They own their own data center, which they market as allowing them to help ensure they are able to provide the highest quality services possible. From what I can tell, this data center is located in Panama along with their main offices. This is a very nice location to have a data center since you will be near both North America, where most people are online and South America where a growing number are accessing the Internet.
PanamaServer does not promote any type of uptime guarantee that I have been able to find. They do have a nice data center, and it appears that they use high quality hardware too, so the chances are that they have very reliable hosting. I looked on social media sites and other places to see what kind of things people were saying, and unfortunately there wasn’t too much being said either way.
No matter which of the many hosting packages you choose, you’ll find that you have access to all the features that you need. You can choose from either cPanel or DirectAdmin for your control panel, which is nice. The company seems to be focused on providing Linux based hosting, which is more popular anyway. They have a number of one-click install options for software, including WordPress, Joomla, PHPBB and many others. Another nice little feature is that they accept all different types of payments including PayPal, Credit Cards, BitCoin, WebMoney and Western Union.
If you experience any problems with your hosting you can reach out to the support teams via email, skype, live chat or phone. They are open 24/7, but not on national holidays. They do have a FAQ area that answers a lot of common questions about hosting, so you can take care of a lot of problems on your own.
The pricing from this company is fair. It starts at $4.16 per month for their entry level options and goes up from there. For most people, the prices are not going to be a significant factor when deciding whether or not to go with this company.
Just about everything regarding this company is fairly average. Most people will be happy with the services, price, features and reliability of the hosting they get from this company. Unless there is a specific feature that you require that is missing, you won’t have any trouble here. If you are targeting both North and South America, this could be a really great option. Pros:
