Deception, lack of honesty, integrity and basic communication
I have taken a co-location service with i2k2 networks - https://www.i2k2.com/ I have co-located several lakhs worth of server and networking equipment with them. I have clearly stated to i2k2 about my requirements, both in writing and in phone calls.
They have initially falsely represented their capabilities and said that they already had infrastructure to meet my requirements. I installed my hardware in their rack in the Netmagic Electronic City DC at end of December and found that they were below requirements for network speed - I informed them immediately, they said at the start of Jan that they had to do hardware upgrades, saying it would be done by end of Jan. Their CEO, Rahul Aggarwal, has not returned any of my emails since 24th February 2020 where I prove through network tests that they have not met my clearly stated requirements. I have sent them further emails informing them I wish to retrieve my hardware and cease using their service, which they have not responded to. They have caused me frustration, headaches and loss of sleep, they have affected my performance during a crucial job interview that I gave for AWS on 13th February 2020. They are a waste of time and money and the worst company I have ever wasted my time and money on, they do not bother to communicate with their clients. They don't seem to have any customer support team, their CEO handles support related tasks for some unimaginable reason.
Hosting Service Stuck in 2002 -- Lies, Empty Promises, Dishonesty
After discussions for a co-location service in Bangalore with i2k2 for 5U of rackspace, I racked my systems in end of December 2019. I had made abundantly clear to Manish Khurana and Rahul Aggarwal that I required a 1 Gbit/s uplink -- this has not been provided to date. Both Manish and Rahul repeatedly would say "Yes, 1 Gbit/s is available" whenever I asked. Only after issuing the first invoice and me withholding payment until the requirements were met did Rahul tell me over email that their switch/router at the NetMagic DC in Electronic City is incapable of 1 Gbit/s. I haven't heard anything this absurd in 2020, it may be the most absurd thing I'll hear this year if i2k2 doesn't come up with more garbage. They take a backwards-revolutionary approach to hosting, by telling their customers and clients what their requirements are -- they have told me in an email "we discussed and determined that you don't need 1 Gbit/s". This inversion of the client-provider relationship is truly a wonder to behold.
This hosting company will hold you back, this hosting company will frustrate you, this hosting company will lie, cheat, misrepresent, and deceive you. These people hold all of India back with their backwardness and thoroughly out-of-date infrastructure.
Last month I have migrated to cloud hosting with the support of i2k2 Networks. Sales and technical team configures it correctly. Now I am enjoying this service without any downtime.
Don't make the mistake of choosing i2k2 for hosting! You will regret like we did. Suffered a long downtime and never got any details. No SLA followed. Rude and incompetent staff!
