As my business grew, I starting looking for an option that would help me combine email accounts and that’s when I stumbled upon crazydomain’s Microsoft Exchange plan. Like my other purchases with them, I simply went over to their website to set it up. The next thing I knew, I had all my business emails organized and inboxes free of spam. This is a must-do for every growing business out there. If you happen to be looking for a reliable hosting company to work with, I’d 100% recommend you check crazydomains out.

I had to deal with Crazy Domains with several migration from Open Host to them, as Open Host bought Crazy Domains. Every migration went wrong and they don't want to own it. Hours on the phone with them and then it takes days to g...Read Moreet it fixed, all while your business is down. There is no other words than "they don't care".
The support engineers are friendly, I must give them that, they must get some abuse as their knowledge is as good as nothing. A simple problem which should be fixed in 15 minutes takes weeks to solve. If the support engineers had just some basic skills and would escalate it when needed to third line as second line is just as bad, but they don't even know how to describe a problem, as they don't know what they are talking about. On top of that, as others say in here, nobody owns a problem so you have to start over and over. Weeks of frustrating
The saving you gain with the price of the product, you lose with the time needed to get basic things solved.

Crazy domains dont care for clients.

Crazy domains have a reseller - who abandoned their business and left domain holders with no access to their domains.
We notified Crazy Domains about this around 6 - 8 months ago. We manage...Read Mored to retrieve that clients Auth code after hours of effort.
Now another person has contacted us. Their website and emails are down as their domain is no longer current.
Crazy Domains (CD) were contacted two or more weeks ago. They backed the resellers 'rights' and tried to contact him. Fair call - although after we outed this guy 6 months ago you would think they would clean up their act with him.
We requested the auth code sent to the registered owners email address. No!
We were told we need to provide photo id (passport) and a signed letter. Done.
We were told we needed to open a CD account. Done.
We were told to open it under the owners email address - done.
We verified the CD account via the owners email address. done.
Two weeks on they are requesting us to send more emails, despite the emails being verified etc.
We have raised an ICANN complaint.
We still have no access to the clients auth code.
CD could have sent it to the authorised email address. Now two weeks later, emails still don't work, web site is still down. Client is going nuts and now CD aren't responding to requests for escalation.
Complete bureaucratic twerps with no care for their responsibilities or clients businesses.
CD dont comply with ICANN or protect clients.

Pathetic Service and Support

I recently created a new company and domain name.
Within a week of having it running the site is offline and support have escalated it but 24 Hours later there is no resolution.
Being an IT Manager I am well versed in what the i...Read Moressue is however its the simple fact it is still offline 24 hours later with no resolution or end in site.
I am sorry I ever went or used them and in addition I can access there FTP manager via there Hosting Portal but cant download my site using it.
When I try to ftp to the site separate to there hosting platform it does not exist. So I effectively cant get my site to relocate it anywhere.
I will not be using them again in future nor any of my business clients.

Terrible company... all they care about is conning consumers into buying domains (at a low rate) to then learn the said domain you have just purchased is next to useless.

They basically sell you a do...Read Moremain name you can't do anything with and then ask you to pay more (than other providers) to make it work. You literally can't do anything with the domain you purchase until you purchase more options. You can't even do a redirect to an exisiting site without paying more and more money.

NO info or warnings are visible about the pointless domain purchase. Either during the adding to cart section or the payment section of the site. You might as well write your domain name on a scrap piece of paper and save yourself some money for all the use the domain purchase is.

These guys are crooks and everyone should stay away from them.

If I could give a negative star rating I would.

UPDATE.
Its now been over the 60 days required to move MY domains (to a trustworthy company) and when I have tried to log into my account this morning it has been blocked.
The reason the live chat has given me is because I made ...Read Morea complaint to Paypal (who I used to pay the CrazyConDomains). The Paypal case was closed over one month ago and as the domains were only $9, I thought I'd just leave it (I really have better things to do with my time) until the 60 days were up and I could move away from these crooks!

So, as of right now... I can't login to MY account, I can't transfer MY domains, they wont give me MY Domain EPP Keys and they have said they will need to speak with accounts to reactivate the account (even though its been over 50 days since the case was closed).

This company is the worst I've ever had to deal with in over 25 years of buying and using domain providers!!!

They hide standard options (available from other providers) and extra fees behind their T&Cs. You can't see these fees until the domains are purchased and then the T&Cs say you can't cancel an order because the domain is active... You only get to see the extra fees and missing standard options after you pay and the domain is active... they have you locked in!!! It's like buying a car only to find out once they hand over the keys the engine is extra, absolutely disgusting company!


Don't think because these guys are described as cheaper, they are better. So glad I only spent $9 with them.

Do yourself a favour and never use this company... sometimes the cheapest option is the best!
