Let’s check it out.
Reliability and Security
99.99% Uptime and On The Go Management
With a reliable 99.99% uptime for shared servers, it is hard to find a hosting provider that beats this kind of standard, and makes AISO one of the best for uptime. They also have a proven 99.992% uptime for their managed dedicated servers, which is very impressive. With each hosting package you will also have access to Web App Firewall and Security, and redundant power is present on all plans. This redundant power covers the servers, and the network and data center. The redundant Cisco firewalls can keep out unwanted traffic, as does the redundant intrusion detection servers (IDS). All incoming bandwidth is cleaned prior to reaching their data center.
In addition to the hardware firewalls, you will also get application layer firewalls on all their servers. With the on-demand service you can also manage your cloud servers on the go through iOS devices such as an iPhone or an iPad, which scores some points with us! Finally, they have IP reputation blocking and Cloud Linux to isolate each site into its own ‘jail cell’ for added stability.
They have backup for ALL the websites, databases and servers HOURLY and keep 3 weeks worth of backup. They will do no charge to restore.
Security - ThreatSTOP’s Shield technology lives in the cloud and provides a list of active bad IP addresses to your existing firewalls that is updated in near real time via a patented distribution mechanism. When a Bot or other malware attempts to “call home,” ThreatSTOP Shield prevents this from happening by blocking the communication to the criminals’ computers.
1: Redundant Cisco Firewalls
2: Redundant IDS (intrusion detection servers)
3: Application level firewalls on all servers
4: Clould Linux ( puts each site in its own jail cell)
5: IP reputation blocking
Features
Plenty of Features to Get You Started
Features at AISO are good, but don’t come as unlimited options which may put some people off, especially as the price is generally higher than other hosts in terms of what you get.
Setup is free on each shared hosting plan, and website space and email space goes up in increments of 5GB, starting at 10GB for the cheapest plan. AISO also offer a free website migration service to take that hassle and stress of having to manually move your site across from another hosting provider.
Support
Good Support but Missing Some Channels
Support isn’t too bad at AISO but it isn’t the best either. Generally they provide all the basic options of support and contact. For example there is a helpdesk that you can make use of as well as an FAQ section. A ticket support options is also readily available when you require a problem solving but aren’t too fussed about the speed it is solved, and a toll free number is available to the people around the world.

Pricing
Good Prices but Features Are Limited
The shared hosting plans that AISO offer come in 3 Linux packages, the Eco 1, 2 and 3. The cheapest plan which is an entry level offering will cost you $6.25 per month, with the mid tier package standing at $9.50, whilst your most expensive plan comes in at $16.50 per month. Each of these plans offer a variety of features but I should note that none of them have ‘Unlimited’ feature assignments.
Dedicated server setup come in 5 plans and range from $150 per month right up to $599, whilst the VPS SolarCloud service falls in at $39.95 up to $159.95.
All plans come with a 30 day money back guarantee should you not be completely satisfied with the service you are receiving.
User-Friendly
Usability is Good but Could Offer More
The AISO site is about average in terms of usability, they offer a basic interface that allows you to easily navigate to where you want to be. Each plan is laid out well, and offer features and prices that are clear.
They could do with advertising the hosting a bit more than they do on the site, as the plans don’t seem to stand out. With other hosts they really make an issue of showing the cheapest priced plans, and encourage you to click.
You will also have to get used to an AISO custom online control panel, as CPANEL isn’t available for shared hosting.

The hosting has proved to be reliable, secure and fast so you shouldn’t have issues with uptime, and there are plenty of features to keep you busy.
