How to Create Perfect Line Art from Photos (SoftOrbits Tutorial)

I have found the single best website to convert photo into line drawings. I haven’t done anything to any of these at all. I’ve just uploaded them to this website and it’s done everything for me. I haven’t not to like remove the backgrounds I haven’t not to like sharpen the images or anything it’s literally just upload the photo click and go.

The detail on that is so good as you can see it hasn’t got too much noise in there as well it’s literally just like a nice thick outline of the animal which you can use no problem with your lasered engravers. It’s taken the details from it and again converted that into an amazing line drawing. The outlines and everything match that exactly so if you were doing this job for somebody they’d be able to see exact it is a picture of their dog and there wouldn’t be any complaints with it whatsoever.

It’s called SoftOrbits’ Online Photo to Sketch Converter. It doesn’t just do line art as well it does like other AI illustrations. There’s lots of different things it can do. The higher Reds photos do obviously work best with it they can take a little bit longer but this website is almost instant you just upload your photo and it can do it in a couple of seconds.

You’ll see here when you first come on to the website you won’t have any photos there it’ll just say drop another photo you or load a photo. We’ll upload the photo we’ve just got off Google so that’s now uploaded now I can choose one of these options and you’ll see now it literally takes a few seconds to convert it. I’m going to go ART -> Color Drawing. There we go just out that that took what 5-10 seconds and I’ve got this image that is a really good decent image of that.

If you’re not happy with it you can resample it. So let’s say for example you know I’m not happy I wanted a different version this resample it’ll just do exactly the same thing again it’ll take a credit off you but then it’ll just resample it and try and give you another similar image. But that one to me looks pretty good. It’s got lot of the details there and the outline is spot on.

There’s lots of options down here you can run all art styles or you can do lots of different ones. On this one I’ve done coloring page bold sketch for that you can go thin lines as well you can do line sketch line up there’s lots of different things you can do with it. You’ve also got color and Page thin and details. I think we’ll just get obviously a lot more detail within like the fur and stuff with it so we’ll wait for that to run through.

I’m going to try oil painted that is really good I like that. Even when you’re using this with the free credits it doesn’t take any longer it literally takes exactly the the same.

Let’s do a do line art see how that looks as well. Now that is really good CU that’s a spot-on copy of the image. It is a bit funky but again we can take that into Iankscape paste the image in and again you can trace that and it’ll just be black lines so that’s quite a good alternative if somebody wanted something a little bit different.

If you’re using this with the free credit as well you will get a watermark on this but because I’ve purchased credits I get like a full image of it. There’s lots of different plans you can choose but this was the cheapest one. It was like $15 which is dir cheap.
