In this interview, I have the honor to speak with Mr. Muhammad Hamza, the CEO of Limitless Hosting, and learn more about their success story.

You have been on the market for more than 6 years now. What is the story behind Limitless Hosting?
The journey began when I was able to get a free virtual private server, which I used it to provide free game servers to the community. I went through many challenges in deploying game servers and managing the community, providing me with a vast amount of experience in managing Linux servers. My community forum was based on the “Post to Host Model”, which means that people had to make a certain amount on posts in order to keep their game server running. The community ran for a few years and in that time, I started a company that provided premium game servers in 2016. When people got game servers, they also required web hosting. The company then expanded to provide Web Hosting to the users. We started with one of the most affordable hosting plans, starting from $0.50/month, which became so famous and attracted a lot of users. It could be called a turning point for the company. Our motive is not only to provide affordable hosting services but to maintain their quality too. The company did not focus much on marketing but on the word of mouth by providing quality customer support to the customers. The company then further expanded to provide reseller hosting, virtual private servers, and software licenses.
As a start-up back in 2016, what were the main challenges that you were facing in terms of growing the company?
In 2016, since the company was only providing game servers to the users, it was challenging to get the customers. When there are so many competitors, which are already well-known in the market, it was time to do something that other competitors could not. Providing affordable services, and quality support to the users. We entered into the market by introducing packages that were affordable and also sustainable for the company.
Why hosting services? From where did you get the idea about offering hosting services?
At an age of 12, I created my first website for the game server community. I managed to host services at that time and was so interested that it became my hobby to deploy websites, install software applications and deploy game servers in Linux operating system. Then I moved from web hosting to virtual private servers and it was a good experience to manage Linux servers. I deployed websites for my local clients and thought that this could be something that I can do at an International level.
In your opinion, what are the core values that drive the company to success?
– Providing consistency and quality services
– Providing good customer support to the users
– To work hard, and not to give up when facing any kind of challenges. Patience is the key to success.
What are the things that make Limitless Hosting different from the competitors?
Affordability, and consistency in services. Since 2016, we have been providing our most famous package, $0.50/month. Despite inflation, we did not discontinue our most affordable package. In 2021, we even released a $0.50 web hosting package in a new location, Singapore. Providing an Asia location for $0.50/month is rare, that is what keeps
different from the competitors as we try our best to keep our web hosting service affordable as much as possible.
What are the main products and services of Limitless Hosting?
Our main services are Web Hosting services, which are available in different data center locations such as USA, EU & Asia. We also provide Reseller Hosting packages that allow users to start their own hosting company. There are different add-ons provided along with Reseller Hosting. For example, we provide free Blesta License with our Limitless Reseller Package. Software License includes Blesta and DirectAdmin License. We also provide SSD Powered Virtual Private servers which include DDoS Protection
Could you please provide some more information about Blesta? The web hosting software helps people in automating their web hosting business.
Software that has helped us in automating our business, is a perfect solution for our hosting company. It is the software that has open code, which makes it great for the developers and allows customization that other web hosting software cannot provide. Blesta is in the web hosting market for a long time, thus there is a lot of modules and integration which helps in automating the web hosting business. Blesta consists of numerous features such as support portal, client management, knowledgebase, invoicing, and a lot more.
There are new technologies, products, and services on the hosting market each year. We are sure that from 2016 until now there are a lot of products that have made a difference in the hosting industry. What is your opinion on how fast the hosting industry is changing? Are there any new technologies that you are tracking and planning to introduce in the near future?
The hosting industry is changing rapidly every day, and so keeping up to date with it is important for us. We try our best to introduce new features into our hosting, for example, there was a time when people would request a Dedicated IPv4 in order to improve their email deliverability, some still do nowadays but we introduced premium emails on our servers so that clients do not have to go for an external mail server for good email deliverability, and also saving a lot of costs as dedicated IPv4 is getting expensive. And what could be better? When you can get premium emails, free SSL, choice of server location from different regions, USA, EU & Asia, choice of different PHP versions, and a lot more in just $0.50/month! We plan to add more technologies to our Web Hosting.
What are your plans for the next year?
We plan to expand our business by providing more digital services. In 2020, we started providing Software Licenses at a competitive price. Adding more features to our current services, and improving them. We also plan to expand into providing more services for resellers, so that they can start their business affordability with the tools provided by us.
Finally, is there anything else you would like to add about your products and services that we missed mentioning?
The hosting industry knows well how it was challenging in 2019 when the world’s famous control panel known as cPanel announced a price hike and introduced account-based pricing which made affordable hosting impossible. Just like the majority of hosting providers, we also used cPanel and were mostly relied on it. However, after they announced their price hike, we started looking into the alternatives as our hosting model is on affordability. DirectAdmin was one of the closest alternatives to cPanel, which we are using at this moment and has replaced up to 70% of our services that were using cPanel. Despite the challenges faced due to the cPanel price hike, we wanted to keep our famous $0.50/month which we were able to do by using DirectAdmin Control Panel. We also provide Internal DirectAdmin Unlimited License for $6/month for our Virtual Private Servers, which can easily replace the users using cPanel, and does not have to stay at cPanel’s account-based model which most users are unhappy with.
