Hostinger Payment Methods (2026): Full List by Region

Hostinger Payment Methods: The Full List and How to Manage Them

Hostinger Payment Methods

What Hostinger accepts is not one fixed list. It changes depending on which local Hostinger brand you are buying from, since Hostinger operates dozens of region-specific storefronts, each with its own currency and payment options. Here is the complete breakdown by region, plus how to actually add, view, and manage a payment method once you have an account.

The Core Methods Available Almost Everywhere

Regardless of region, a few payment types show up across nearly every Hostinger storefront.

Takeaways
  • Credit, debit, and prepaid cards. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and Maestro cover most regions, though the exact card mix varies slightly by country
  • PayPal. Available in the large majority of regions, sometimes billed in USD even when the local storefront uses a different currency
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay. Both widely supported, though a handful of regions only offer one or the other
  • Cryptocurrency. Accepted in most regions through Hostinger’s crypto payment processor, though refunds are never available on crypto payments regardless of region

Beyond that core set, things get regional fast, with local bank transfers, installment plans, and country-specific wallets showing up only where they make sense.

How to Manage Payment Methods in hPanel

Before getting into the regional breakdown, here is where to actually view and manage your saved payment methods once you have an account.

Click your profile icon in the top right corner of hPanel, then select Billing.

From the Billing menu, click Payment Methods. This page shows any methods already saved to your account, marks one as the default, and lets you add a new one.

Clicking Add Payment Method opens a short list of what you can add, Card, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay in my test.

Note that this management screen shows a narrower set of options than what appears at checkout for a specific regional storefront, since checkout also surfaces local and one-time methods like bank transfers or crypto that are not meant to be saved as a recurring default.

A Few Practical Details to Know

  • Your account currency is locked in at signup. Once you create a Hostinger account on a specific regional storefront, you cannot switch currencies later. Using a different currency requires creating a new account with a different email address on the relevant local site
  • Hostinger Balance applies automatically. Any funds sitting in your account balance get applied as a discount to your next invoice without you needing to select it manually
  • Adding an eligible payment method enables auto-renewal. Know this if you want to avoid automatic renewals on a service
  • Installment plans depend on your bank, not just your region. In markets like Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico where installments are offered, whether you actually qualify and at what interest rate depends on your card issuer, not Hostinger itself

Payment Method Refund Restrictions

Not every payment method behaves the same way if you later request a refund. A few methods only support a refund to your Hostinger Balance rather than back to the original payment source, including Multibanco in Portugal, GCash in the Philippines, and Fawry in Egypt.

VTC Pay in Vietnam is the opposite case, supporting full refunds only, with no partial refund option.

Cryptocurrency payments are excluded from refunds entirely across every region, given how exchange rates and irreversibility work with crypto transactions.

If a refund is something you might need later, our Hostinger refund policy guide covers the full 30-day guarantee and how to actually request one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What payment methods does Hostinger accept?

Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cryptocurrency are available across most regions. Beyond that, the exact list depends on which local Hostinger storefront you are buying through, with country-specific options like Pix in Brazil, UPI in India, and OXXO in Mexico added on top.

Can I pay for Hostinger with cryptocurrency?

Yes, in most regions, through Hostinger’s crypto payment processor. Crypto payments are excluded from refunds entirely, so factor that in before choosing crypto if you might want your money back later.

How do I add a payment method to my Hostinger account?

Click your profile icon in hPanel, go to Billing, then Payment Methods, and click Add Payment Method. You can choose from card, PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, depending on what is available for your account.

Can I change my Hostinger account currency?

No. Currency is fixed to the account once created. To use a different currency, you need to create a new Hostinger account with a different email address on the specific regional storefront that supports that currency.

Does every payment method support a refund to the original source?

No. A few methods, including Multibanco, GCash, and Fawry, only refund to your Hostinger Balance rather than back to your original payment method. Cryptocurrency payments cannot be refunded at all.
