Global software and cloud technology solutions provider, SoftwareONE, has acquired cloud-native Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting Partner, HeleCloud.SoftwareONE logo

SoftwareONE is a well-established business, delivering software and cloud solutions from over 7,500 publishers to approximately 65,000 business clients. The company has a team of around 8,300 employees and sales and service delivery capabilities in 90 countries. To capitalize upon its success, SoftwareONE has also listed its shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

With its latest acquisition, SoftwareONE will add HeleCloud’s current leadership team and employees, a group of AWS specialists with effective project delivery and managed service skills, to its practice.

HeleCloud is a large European AWS System Integrator (SI) and Managed Service Provider (MSP), headquartered in the United Kingdom. However, the company has three European locations, the UK, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria. It uses these points to serve the EMEA markets.

Thus, SoftwareONE will develop and improve its AWS capabilities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Javid Khan, who serves the role of AWS Global Director at SoftwareONE, had this to say:

We are delighted to welcome HeleCloud to SoftwareONE. With its market-leading position, this acquisition will help us further build out SoftwareONE’s cloud migration service offering, one of our strategic growth initiatives, and accelerate our growth in AWS-related services in EMEA. With HeleCloud joining us, we continue to expand SoftwareONE’s capabilities to enable our customers in their journey to AWS, as well as their overall cloud and digital transformation.

HeleCloud is an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, delivering cloud-native consulting, software architecture services, infrastructure engineering, and managed services with “unique” end-to-end cloud delivery capabilities on the AWS network. It utilizes cloud automation and security. In turn, it grants its clients next-gen, cloud-native managed service experience.

Dob Todorov, who serves the role of a CEO and Co-founder of HeleCloud, had this to say:

SoftwareONE gives HeleCloud the opportunity to operate at scale, a benefit for our customers. It is the ideal platform for enabling customers of all sizes worldwide to benefit from the cloud by using HeleCloud’s repeatable success patterns and accelerators for cloud adoption. The integration into SoftwareONE will allow our employees to have an even bigger impact. Together with SoftwareONE’s global AWS practice, we will be able to amplify our capabilities and help a broader number of customers with their AWS-cloud adoption.

HeleCloud is yet another addition to SoftwareONE’s acquisition strategy. The company has struck numerous deals over the past couple of years, sealing six in 2019 and three in 2020.

SoftwareONE and HeleCloud didn’t disclose the financials behind the acquisition.
