I decided first to move only one of my sites in order to check the performances. When I did so I noticed that although it was the one who had less traffic out of my two sites, it was substantially slower than the one who hosted on Rackspace on a plan that cost half of the one on Nexcess! We tried with their support team to improve things but they never succeeded to match the performances of the Rackspace one (not to mention that they were supposed to be better because of the twice more expensive plan!). I asked to cancel and was told that I have a one year contract that I cannot cancel. So I had to stay with two plans because did not want to move my other site to the weaker environment. At the end of the year contract I told Nexcess that the year ended and I want to move all to Rackspace and I was told that I'm six days late in my response and that they already did their yearly plan and that I have to continue for an additional year! They forgot that I wanted to move before, they forgot that I signed only for one year, and that if it was for two, they have proposed me when I signed a better price from day one and I said that I want to pay more and to commit for only one year. At the bottom line their servers cannot match the leading hosts and the company isn't honest. So be careful. I submitted a support ticket about switching domains and... More it was handled very quickly. Here are the ticket time stamps from first to last: Wed, Feb 5th, (21:53); Wed, Feb 5th (22:02); Fri, Feb 7th (11:05); Fri, Feb 7th (11:15). So requests were handled within minutes. I have one issue though; but it's not really TMDs fault. I would suggest the extra money to get privacy protection for your free domain or I guess any domain you buy or transfer to them. I've received about ten spam calls since signing up with them. I called them and they said it was the registrar they use and the lack of privacy protection. I am a reseller of Godaddy and buy all my domains from myself. I never buy the privacy protection and never received any spam when I buy a new domain or from the 100+ ones I currently own. I gave them my cell number as part of my contact info when I signed up. Less

Nevertheless, upon on the sign-up of this service automatic payment was setup to avoid disruption of such. As I went thru this issue, I notice that a payment of $142.80 went thru as expected. However, a further payment of $48 was required to re-active my services. Which makes a total $190.80 making an increase of over 60%. No refund was offered, and I’m stuck with them for the next 2 year…great!!! PLUS their mail-server is blocked by Hotmail, Gmail and other popular providers. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS otherwise you will regret in couple years. Less
