ys the best plan for the money. Do your homework and compare details you will see 1&1 is actually a pretty good choice. Those with bad reviews are either just complaining like some people do, or they really don't know what they are comparing it to. Every company has a bad experience but I have proven to myself by doing my homework that 1&1 is the best choice for the money. There is better but some like rackspace start their smallest plans at over $700 monthly. Wow, that's too expensive for what I do, 1&1 is perfect for me. I host over 100 websites.

customer. I had a domain I no longer wanted they autorenewed it without me setting this feature. When I called to cancel the domain they did and I closed my account. 2 weeks later a letter from a debt collections asking for more money than even the domain was worth. Something like over £37 for cancelling and admin charges. I'm reading that so many other customer have encountered the same scenario. They're just out to make mo ey no matter what. Just avoid this company because they'll charge you even if you dont want their services. Really dodgy company. AVOID!!!

nhelpful, and actually a hinderence to business. Once i finally got my domain working i've been overcharged, attempted cons, and insulted. Be aware that if you dont pay for renewal three months early they will claim your domain has expired and want hundreds of euros to get it back. Borderline blackmail. Definately unethical.
