Luxembourg-based cloud and edge solutions provider, G-Core Labs, opens up a new branch in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It’s the provider’s 16th location worldwide.
The cloud service includes an integrated encryption technology Intel SGX to create highly protected enclaves and an AI platform supporting full-cycle machine learning of any complexity.
With the Intel SGX encryption technology, no one can access the encrypted data, not even the providers, even in a hack. Therefore, it’s an essential feature for industries that handle personal data and higher safety requirements, such as finance, healthcare, and retail.
The AI platform will provide a cheaper and faster machine learning process. It comes with a reliable infrastructure with software and frameworks. In turn, it can give the organizations uninterrupted delivery of models and joint work on them. Better yet, the AI platform comes with a catalog of readily available templates and models.
Furthermore, the AI platform integrates all modern data acquisition and processing solutions, such as Kafka, Storm, Spark, PySpark, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Most of all, it will benefit projects related to people, documents, objects, or images recognition.
With the new German location, G-Core Labs will provide easily scalable IT infrastructure, faster business development, design, and testing of products with maximum protection to its customers.
The German servers are located in reliable Tier III data centers. In turn, they are protected from DDOS attacks at the network protocol level. They also come with an SLA of 99.95%, ensured with a financial guarantee. G-Core was also one of the first providers in the world to integrate Intel Xeon Scalable (Ice Lake) Gen 3 processors in the cloud. They are also included in the German servers.
Elena Simon, who serves the role of General Manager at G-Core Labs in Germany, had this to say:
Our cloud is deeply integrated with our other products and services, including our international content delivery network, which encompasses all continents and was included in the Guinness Book of Records. The G-Core Labs team has expertise in the expansion of online businesses to complicated regions: Latin America, known for its strong DDoS attacks, as well as the countries that require specified legal expertise: China and Russia. We’ll be happy to share this knowledge with clients planning to expand their business.
G-Core Labs has available public clouds in Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Moscow, Tokyo, Singapore, Manassas, Santa Clara, and other locations across the US. The provider also plans to expand its capabilities and plans further, opening over 20 new PoP worldwide.
