Performance
Before you commit to a web host, you should always examine the hosts performance by checking out their server speed, uptime and loading time. These three metrics are very important.
How long does it take the server to send data to a user visiting your website? That’s the server speed. The uptime is basically how long your website is “online” for within a given period. Finally, loading time measures how fast your web pages load when a user visits your website.
Voyager guarantees that your website will be online 99.9% of the time (aka 99.9% uptime). However, to find out the host speed and load time, I used
GTMetrix to test the performance of voyager.nz (which is likely hosted on their servers)
The results were as follows:
Voyager.nz got a response time (time to first byte) of 886 ms and fully loaded time of 2 seconds (experts recommend 1-2 seconds). Meanwhile, it had an overall performance of 67% which is fair:
Level Of Support
Voyager offers 24/7 support through:
Phone
Voyager provides a single telephone number that any local New Zealand resident can call to get in contact with their support agent:
Support tickets
Voyager allows you to make enquiries by opening support tickets, and the best part is that you can send your query even as a non-customer.

If you have any questions regarding their platform or hosting packages, Voyager’s support team has put together a vast knowledgebase providing answers and solutions to them:
