Very Stable Hosting

This company is known for good reliable hosting.  They perform frequent backups, have a natural gas backup generator, good tech support and more.  They provide bill credits for any time the uptime drops below 99%, but that really doesn’t seem to happen.  Looking at what real users have had to say about their experience it is easy to see that they offer a very stable environment.

Features

Easy to Understand Feature Lists

The features offered by this company are well-organized and easy to understand.  In most cases they are also quite reasonable given their prices.  For the shared hosting options you’ll have four packages you can pick from. The first one will offer 2 gigs of disk space, 10 gigs of bandwidth and a limit of 1 domain.  One thing to note about this econo package is that they don’t allow MySQL databases, which are required for many types of sites.  As you move up you can grow to be able to have unlimited everything except disk space, which is capped at 200 gigs.

If you want something more powerful for your sites you can move up to their dedicates servers.  The servers are very affordable, but they don’t have the power that you might expect from a dedicated hosting company.  The entry level dedicated server only has an Intel Pentium III CPU in it, which is a fairly outdated option.  The highest CPU is a Dual Core Xeon.  The memory options range from 500 megs to 16 gigs, which is not bad.  If you are looking for a very high end dedicated server, however, you won’t find it with this company.

Good 24/7 Tech Support

The technical support with this company is very good.  They are staffed 24/7 and seem to be able to help you with most any issues you are having.  They can be contacted via support tickets or email.  They also monitor their Facebook account well for quick questions.  They don’t seem to have any type of knowledge base or other self-help options though, which will be disappointing to some.

Pricing

Prices are Slightly High

Prices for shared hosting are too high, but the prices are pretty much right in line with what most other companies are offering today for dedicated servers.  They try to say that they have the lowest prices around for their dedicated servers, but when you compare specs and prices this is not exactly true.  They do have low prices, but the performance isn’t the best either.

The shared hosting starts at $10 per month, which is a little high since you don’t even get a MySQL database.  For the highest shared hosting package you will pay $59, which is also pretty high. Dedicated servers range from $69 per month up to $250 per month.

Summary

Great IT Services Company

If you are going to be using this company for any of their IT services, it makes sense to use them for hosting as well.  If you are looking for just hosting, you will likely be able to find a company that provides as good or better hosting for a lower price.  It is not a bad overall experience, but it is slightly overpriced when looking just at the hosting services.
