When browsing through their hosting options you may notice that things aren’t quite as clear as you may like them.  The shared hosting comes in two options, though they have very similar features.  The same number of domain options, mailboxes, databases, disk space and more.  The only real difference is the operating system and the price.  You can select from either Linux or Windows, but the actual features of the package won’t change.

When you move over to their cloud hosting package (which is quite similar to a VPS) you will only have one package option.  It is a fairly nice server with 10 gigs of disk space, 3000 gigs of bandwidth per month, plenty of FTP and mailboxes and much more.  They also guarantee a minimum bandwidth speed at 10Mbps, which is a very nice feature that you don’t find with most hosting companies.  You’ll also get dedicated IP addresses.

If you want a dedicated server, you will be able to choose from either their foundation server or their foundation pro server.  Both of them use good quality Intel CPUs and redundant hard drives.  The lower end server has 32 gigs of RAM and the pro option comes with 128.  Once you select the server you want you will have the option to customize it to meet your specific needs.  This means you can add in more disk space, RAM, choose which data center it is located in and much more.  Many of these features, however, will add to the cost.

One last feature to mention is that they have housing and colocation services.  This means you can buy your own hardware, send it to them and they will house it in their great data center.  You can choose to rent out a shelf in a rack, a full rack or a secured cage.  They will hook it up, provide power and network connections, and you will handle the rest.

At first you may think that all the pricing is very high, but that is actually not the case.  They list all their prices at annual rates rather than monthly.  Other than being out of the ordinary, this is not a bad thing though some people don’t like paying annually.  The prices are all right in line with industry averages for their base packages.

One thing to be warned of, however, is that most hosting packages they offer have a variety of add-on options that you will need to pay for.  Whether it is added RAM, extra IPs, a specific operating system or something else, these extra features can add up quite quickly so make sure you keep this in mind when buying your hosting.
