PlugZone offers web hosting as well as a variety of other web based services to their customers. They only offer shared hosting but they do a pretty good job of it so most people won’t need anything else. They also develop websites, so if you want a custom made site it might be smart to host it with the team that created it. They even do their own graphic design for your page.
From what I can tell on their site, web hosting is not their primary service, and is just set up around the other things they offer. They do have an overall good reputation for service and most people have been happy with them from what I have been able to see.
I was not able to find any type of uptime guarantee or anything else about it on their site. While this is not immediately a problem, it can be a concern. When looking for actual users of this company it was not easy to find them. Possibly because most people use their other services as well and possibly because it is a foreign language hosting service, which makes finding information more difficult.
From what I did find, however, nobody was complaining about down time so that is a good sign. They do offer live chat support if you run into trouble as well, but the support seems to be for all their services, not just hosting.
The features for hosting are pretty decent. As you go through what they offer you will see that they have all the main items that you will need. Since it is shared hosting it is hard to make anything really stand out, but there isn’t anything missing either. The limits on disk space and bandwidth are quite reasonable, but still should be taken note of before ordering.
My biggest issue with the features on this company is that they are hard to figure out. Their site is set up in a way that does not make it obvious where you can find their hosting services. They almost seem like an afterthought that was just tossed in as an extra.
The tech support with this company is available to help you when you need it. When you get in touch with them they will be able to get your issues fixed quickly. Since they aren’t primarily a hosting company, however, they will typically only be able to help you with issues on their end such as network or hardware. Other hosting providers might be a better option if you’re looking for actual help with how to run your site.
The pricing is quite low for what you’re getting. This is likely because they are trying to entice you to use their services here so they can get you to buy other options as well. Of course, they do undoubtedly make money on the hosting as well.
If you are going to use any of their other web services, their hosting might be a good option. If you’re not, however, you can likely find a better company to provide the same type of services but more focused just on hosting.
