Neunet is a Hungarian web hosting company that has been around cien 2006. They offer a variety of web related services and really began their company focused on providing help to the medical community. Today they offer hosting to all types of sites and seem to do an overall good job of it.
They only offer shared hosting, which is what most customers will want anyway. This does mean if your site outgrows their services, however, you will have to migrate to another hosting solution, which can be inconvenient. From what I have found, most customers are happy with the service though so if you don’t think your site will outgrow shared hosting, this may be a nice option.
They don’t really provide much information on the reliability of their sites and I didn’t find too much on other reviews or social media either. The fact that customers aren’t complaining is, of course, a good sign. It would be nice, however, to have an uptime guarantee or some other information from the company itself saying that they do all they can to keep the hosting up at all times.
The features that come with their hosting solutions are fairly standard. The company doesn’t seem to specialize in their hosting but they still do a good job with all the basic needs most people will have. They only have a few packages to choose form, and they do have limits on disk space, bandwidth and other things. The limits, however, are quite high so most people won’t run into any type of issues with them. They only run Linux hosting though, so if you’re a Windows fan this is not the company for you.
In addition to their web hosting services, you can also get help with domain name registration, website design, IT security, anti-virus solutions and more. They really are a full IT solutions company.
The support system they have in place seems to be good. Some pages, however, have generic text on them, which is concerning. They do have a nice blog that they keep updated with helpful information for customers. When you have issues you can call them or email them to get help, and they have a nice reputation for getting issues fixed quickly.
The prices for their shared hosting solutions are quite low. When you look at the features, however, that makes sense. They don’t have anything really extraordinary going on so they don’t need to charge a premium. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Most sites don’t need anything really special so keeping the price low is going to be very attractive.
There really isn’t too much to say about this company. They provide an entry level hosting experience for a low price. The services they provide do seem good and their customers seem mostly happy. If you are just hosting a basic site and you want it in their location, this can be a nice option.
