NetBeOpen is based in Algeria and has been around since at least 2014. Unfortunately, this site’s webpage is under construction and simply has a timer counting down saying they will be back open for business in about 36 days. They don’t comment at all on what happened to their existing customers when they went down for this construction.
Due to the fact that their site is not open, I’ll have less official data to judge them with. Also, some of the data that I do have is going to be from before they went down for construction. If they change the types of services they provide or anything than things could change.
Relying on actual user reviews of this company, however, this seems like a web hosting company that you may want to avoid anyway. While there are quite a few people who seem very happy with them, there are also a number who have had very bad experiences. Many suggested that they don’t get back to you when you submit tickets and that they have had a lot of downtime.
Uptime & Reliability
Quite a Few Complaints
Given the fact that their own site is out of service and will be for well over a month at a minimum it is hard to consider them a very reliable hosting company. Even if they wanted to revamp their website or their entire business model, they could have done it offline and then refreshed their business once the new page was ready.
In addition to this, there are quite a few user reviews that comment on the fact that their sites were frequently down or having trouble. All this makes me feel that the reliability of this company is far less than what most people expect for their websites.
Features
Features Seem Fairly Normal
The features offered by this company prior to the time they went down for construction seemed to be fairly typical. They had shared hosting packages as well as VPS services. While there are limits on things like disk space and bandwidth, they were quite reasonable so most customers would be happy with this.
While there was really nothing significant wrong with the features they provided, there also is nothing really that helps to set them apart or make them a really attractive option. Hopefully they will be updating their features list when the construction is over so that it is more impressive.
Support
Hard to get in touch with
According to the customer reviews that I have seen, their support team does not reply to you quickly (or even at all in some cases). This is unacceptable as tech support is one of the most important things a shared hosting provider can offer. Of course, since their site is down I can’t verify whether or not they have any type of self-help information or other items available when they are up.
Pricing
Reasonable Prices
The pricing is one of the better parts of this company. They set their prices fairly low and they don’t go to high no matter what level of service you upgrade to. Of course, they may change their prices after the construction is over, but most companies that are considered ‘discount providers’ won’t change their entire pricing strategy so it seems likely that the prices will remain low.
Summary
Not a Very Good Option
Overall this seems like a company that should be avoided. Hopefully they are working on changing all of that so they can satisfy their customers in the future, but for now at least, I can’t recommend them to anyone. If you need hosting in Algeria, there are other options with a lot better reputations.
Pros:
Cons:
- Site is currently down for at least 36 days
- Lots of customer complaints on reliability and service
