The hosting with this company is quite popular in the UK and throughout the area. They have been in business for quite a while now and seem to have built a strong reputation for quality service. They offer shared hosting, VPS options and dedicated hosting so no matter what you’re looking for, they will have it. They do have fairly low prices, in some cases the prices are more average but definitely not too expensive no matter what you’re looking for. This company can provide good hosting to sites ranging from small personal domains to upper mid-sized business pages.
Uptime & Reliability
Very Reliable Hosting
You’ll get a 99.9% uptime guarantee for the network, but the chances are that you’ll never need to use it. They use high quality hardware and operate out of great data centers that will most likely not have any incidents that cause down time. In addition, the RAID configuration of their hard drives will make it even less likely that there will be any type of outage. If you’re not happy with the stability of the hosting, or anything else, you can also take advantage of their 7 day money back guarantee.
Easy to Understand Feature List
When you look through the different options this company has to offer you’ll quickly see that they do a good job at laying everything out so even people without a lot of experience can figure everything out. Most of the basic hosting packages are available right on their front page so you can see what htey have to offer at just a glance. The shared hosting starts with unlimited disk space and a high amount of data transfer (250 gigs). They also allow up to 6 free domains included with the package. You can move up to higher level hosting from there that includes affordable VPS options and dedicated servers too. They have RAID configuration on all their hard drives, which can help ensure your site is more stable.
The sites are on cPanel, which is the most popular and in-demand control panel option. They also offer Apache web options to help make the entire experience easier for everyone. They do a lot to improve the overall security of your sites too, which is very nice and very important in today’s online world where hacks and other digital attacks are becoming very popular.
Skilled Tech Support – Limited Contact Options
The tech support with this company is available 24/7 but it looks like you really have to use their ticketing system. They have a live chat option, but that is only for sales. They also have a knowledge base that has some useful information in it, but it would be better if it were more filled out and covered more areas of hosting that people would be actually interested in.
There are a lot of price options to choose from starting at just $3.99 per month. The VPS packages start at just $9.99 per month took, which is well below the averages for other companies. Dedicated servers start out at $149.99, but you get a lot for the price. Of course, all the different hosting categories have a number of different options within them, which will change the price. No matter what you choose, however, the prices remain quite reasonable.
Overall nice Hosting Option
The hosting with this company is very good. They have been serving their customers for quite a while and everything I can find points to the fact that they have a good overall service. They have plenty of options to choose from, but not so many that it becomes confusing. The prices are also very reasonable in all areas and they have a very reliable hosting system in place.
been with ifast net for 5 years now, evberything was ok, untill I took out a hosting plan last 8 months have had outages, 3 time the web site was not accessable, now today, 3 may 23, I cant find ifastnet.com at all, all though the web site is still there, i have no ftp, or cpanel.. other than that my 4 sites have been very good. they do respond well to tickets opened, dont know whats happened now though.....
We have been with iFastnet for quite a few years but their service recently has become a concern. Earlier this year our site was attacked and our bandwidth consumed by a continual download attack. Instead of contacting us and giving us the option to upgrade our account, we were simply shut down. As we were travelling at the time this took time to resolve and we lost reputation and money as a result. Today we were attacked again by someone making a malicious report about our site. Our site has a very good reputation and iFastnet did not check first to see if the complaint was genuine. They simply suspended our account. Luckily, this time, I was online and got it rectified before it caused too much harm. This is VERY POOR SERVICE considering we are a long time customer. One more stuff up like this and we WILL move to another hosting company. Marc Glasby Western Australia Now and Then
I have hosted several domains with iFastNet, using several hosting packages, and have never had a problem. Their service is very fast, and as expected. Their customer service is very fast, and i usually get a reply within minutes. Their customer support seam knowledgeable, and do a great job of solving any problems. The pricing is very good, but not the cheapest i have seen. However, what i really like about the pricing is that what you see is what you pay. There is no hidden costs, and no price increase after the first year etc... Most other hosts i have seen are using a kind of bait and switch pricing scheme where your first year of hosting is very cheap, and then the price increases after that, but with iFastNet, what you see has always been what you pay.
I have been using Ifast for over 3 years now, and no problem yet. They deliver everything just the way they say it on their site. Flexible and transparent payment structure, extra fast support and fast and reliable servers. What more would i need?
They called me a fraud for getting a premium plan for free, when they sent me an email saying i got a trial. Their support is horrible and Non-Informant. They also say that they support SSL / HTTPS, when i tried this, no Green Lock was displayed.
