Fair hosting

I am their client for almost 2 years now and it is a decent hosting for Wordpress sites. It had 2 down-times in almost 2 years. Both times the support was great and the hosting recovered quickly.

I purchased a shared hosting with them and cancelled it and got a refund when I felt website was running slow. Later I got an email from them saying that they are going to restart the server and I decided to give them a try again....Read More Within two days of purchase, I got a 49 Minute downtime. I submitted a ticket regarding the same. Despite promising a 99.9% the guy who runs this company was not ready to give me a good answer about the downtime and he was eager to refund my money.

I was bit surprised and asked him why he wants to do that and the answer was not really professional (Attaching a screenshot) He kept repeating that "We have no time or chat", which means he sees support tickets as chatting and which shows his carelessness.

I would suggest you find some other web host with reliable servers and good, friendly support. Cheap hosting looks attractive but there are risks too.

I would dispute this as incorrect. Our shared service is operating at 100% uptime since June-2017 and any one of our 1000s of clients can confirm this. We go out of our way for clients. We own all of our servers and keep minimal...Read More loads on them.

He signed up to host his site arootha.com with us using a $9.99/y promotion. A few days later he asked to cancel and wanted a full refund, which was given immediately. He then hosted his site somewhere else, but then signed up with us again a second time. I guess it is safe to say that the host he had signed up with after us was not performing like we were.

After that he asserted that his site was down, which it wasn't as he had a database error. We fixed this for him immediately. Then he tried to blame us and cite our 99.9% uptime policy.

NOW HOW IS HIS DATABASE ERROR OUR RESPONSIBLITY? FURTHERMORE THE NETWORK, WEB SERVER AND PHYSICAL SERVER WERE FULLY OPERATIONAL.

Client was degrading in the way he responded to us and communicated with us and continued to blame. As a result, we did not want to do business with him. I don't believe anyone should be degraded or abused. Why should we? We provide an exceptional service at extremely competitive price points.

This was more a retaliatory post that this individual has made because we did not do business with this person. He wanted to keep his service with us, but we because of his interaction with us which we percieved as degrading did not want to do so. He was refunded in full the second time and his account was kept active until he told us that he has moved his site somewhere else and it is ok to delete it.

I tried to attach snaps but the system would not allow it.

Few websites I host with you were not so important and they were getting less traffic so I decided that a cheap web hosting is enough.

And I didn't actually want to continue with them when he said: "He doesn't have time to chat". I was actually curious to know why he wants to cancel his services. Usually, web hosts try to answer questions asked by clients and here Mr Adnan Faridi was more eager to cancel my services and was trying to escape from questions I asked - I would surely avoid such web hosts.

Customer retention is as important as gaining new customer but you were intolerant about the questions being asked.

It is always better to provide great services and good support to your clients so that they will not post a negative review(You can get a positive reviews too) and you don't have to justify yourself here and there.

Finally, I am not the only one who posted a negative review, I saw you were being abused so badly in another web hosting forum by your angry customers. Although, like them, I didn't lose my data as you let me take backups and I appreciate it.

I FEEL BAD FOR THE HOST YOU ARE CURRENTLY WITH AS IF YOUR SITE AROOTHA.COM HAS A DDOS ATTACK WHICH NOT THAT MANY HOSTS ARE EQUIPPED TO HANDLE, YOU WILL BE ON THEIR CASE FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG. AND WILL BE SHOWING THEM THEIR UPTIME POLICY.

Furtheremore, after initially cancelling and asking for a refund, you came right back to us and signed up with us again after you saw your site perform at the host you moved it to after cancelling with us.

This attitude which you have shown here is the reason we didn't want to do business with you and I think it was a wise choice. You never asked us anything or were even friendly or pleasant. You were looking to control us and degrade us, make false accusations and get us to stoop down to you. This is not the norm here.

And your continued responses also indicate this as you are basically trying to hurt our online reputation.

Nobody has ever lost any data with us, and only a very handful maybe 3 or 4 clients have talked negatively about us. There are clients similar to you which distort the facts and think they can manipulate others.

We are one of the few hosts which use SSD RAID-10, you might want to check your current host.

Finally we have had a single instance of file corruption in our entire 6 years, and this was due to the Red Hat filing system. Red Hat was made aware of this and we changed filing systems and that was it.

What I would advise you is that by paying someone, does not mean you can mistreat them and start putting blames.

My website arootha.com is a new an...Read Mored not a popular website thus none will waste their time on it. There was no instance of DDoS on my website to date, If I will have one, most probably you will be the person behind that.

Anyways what I wrote here depends on your actions. You make payment means you are obliged to offer what you promise and a customer has the right to ask for that.

It think the viewers have enough insight to determine credibility. Furthermore they can always contact us for clarifications.

With this said, we will start asking our clients to review us more, which will give a broader picture to their service with us.

I also hope that this will help others to determine whether to go with your company or not. And asking your customers to add a review is a good idea but make sure that you give them good services otherwise you will again jeopardize everything.

Finally, I do not believe that you will accept your faults and I am ending this argument. I hope that others will use their reasoning skills before purchasing. And I would request everyone to do an extensive research before selecting your host. Because it is a long-lasting relationship and you must trust your web host. If your web host is doing his duty well, you can focus on your business.
