TSO Host used to be really good. Then they got bought out by Godaddy and that was it. They went down the toilet. Support is horrendous, servers are very slow and over loaded. No doubt Godaddy bought them out and then stripped back their support and increased the number of sites per server to order to increase profit at the cost of providing a decent service. Had to migrate all our sites away to a better provider.
I have purchased plan from them, I found out that the prices they offer are high. It will be great if they reduce their prices and provide some quality of service. There are other providers like Go Daddy, Domain Racer, and In Motion offers low cost and good service and support.
I have never had a supplier make me so frustrated. I cant begin to explain how bad their service is and their accounting system is the WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN! Do yourself a favour and look somewhere else for better service .
1-grid (Gridhost) took over the hosting of your email server (by no action of mine) from Webafrica. Since the weekend we have had client call us that our emails are returning undelivered and that the message says that the domain does not exist. I phoned 1-grid and they informed me that the domain has been suspended due to expiry ant that I need to contact the company hosting the domain. They informed me that this was DiaMatrix. Speaking to DiaMatrix they confirmed that they were in fact hosting the domain for one of their clients - Serve-Hosting. I then try to reach Serve-Hosting only to find out that they were taken over by Gridhost (1-grid). After hour long call and being on hold to 45min at a time, promises of calling back and then a guarantee that the domain would be active in a hour - one day later and I'm on hold again and being promised to be called back. In the meantime we are losing customers, we have no website when you google our company and we have no email access.
Slowest hosting I have ever experienced. Also kept crashing and visitors to the site just saw a server error page. Spke to customer service and they said lie after lie and still happening. Useless.... DO NOT USE! I think that covers it..... ;)
I have a had services with Web Africa with little or no service issues. Ive been moved to Gridhost and I get told that they cannot change the billing dates and now that I have a website with their hosting service, which I cannot access. I have logged a ticket bit 1st I received,
" We have checked the domain and can see that the domain expired as it was set not to renew . We can generate an invoice for the registration of the domain and once it has been paid the domain will register." Which I received a response 2 or 3 days later after I sent another mail, and the response was a load of bull.
I have a mail trails from Ashley, Keegan and Zaheer. Still waiting for a Call as requested 4 times now so I can can get this sorted out.
