They rent out space in one of the high end data centers in the Netherlands. They have 200 racks within the data center to house their servers. The data center is built with reliability and security in mind. They have multiple network connections, and full redundant power. Their diesel generator has plenty of fuel to keep it running for days, and can be refilled while active for uninterrupted power.
They have hosting packages for shared, VPS and dedicated servers, and they all seem to be on the higher end. The pricing is somewhat higher than you would normally expect, though it is hard to identify exactly how much since all their fees are in Euros.
Uptime & Reliability
Hosting seems to be quite stable
The website for ek-hosting does not comment on any uptime guarantees or other SLAs for any of their packages. This may be a concern to many people, but from what I have been able to gather, very few people are complaining about the reliability of this company.

Quality features on all hosting packages
The features that they offer on all of their hosting packages seems to be quite nice. They do not have unlimited disk space or bandwidth, but their limits do seem reasonable and most people won’t run into problems. They have quite a few additional options such as SSL certificates and collocation services available, but these cost extra in addition to the hosting fees.
They have free daily backups to help prevent data loss, and their servers run RAID-6, which can help avoid outages even if you have a hard drive failure. All hosting packages include unlimited MySQL databases and email accounts. They also handle all the installation of the operating system and other basics.
Support
Support is a bit of an unknown
While the site does say that they offer quality tech support, there is little information about what that entails on there page. This could be a translation issue, but there is no area where they lay out your support options that I can find. Most other sites clearly identify what type of support you will get.
Pricing
Pricing seems somewhat high
The pricing seems a little high for most of their services. Entry level shared hosting, for example, starts at 19 Euros. The hosting is high quality, but that is still something of a concern. Most people who opt for shared hosting will be looking for a more budget minded price.
