Their growing list of customers seems to be quite happy with the level of service provided. They also offer shared hosting for customers who need something smaller to start out with, but that doesn’t seem to be their main focus.
The site is quite easy to navigate and everything is pretty straight forward, which is nice. Even people without a lot of experience with web hosting won’t have any trouble getting everything figured out and set up so they can begin building their site right away.
This company will host your site within their high quality data center that has good power and network connections to prevent downtime. They also use good quality hardware for all their servers so outages are unlikely. If you do have an outage, you can get your money back if it falls below their 99.9% uptime guarantee.
The features aren’t anything really special, but there isn’t anything really missing either. For shared hosting you can choose from either Linux or Windows and there are several options within each of those categories. They do have limits on disk space and bandwidth for all their shared hosting, but the limits are high enough so that it won’t cause issues with most people. They use cPanel for all their hosting, which is a nice perk.
Their dedicated servers are fairly affordable and still come with some very nice features. The most popular one is a quad core processor with 4 gigs of ram and a TB of disk space. You can also use their VPS solutions that will give you much of the control of a dedicated server, but at a lower price point.
Their tech support is easy to reach by using their contact forms and support tickets. The tech support teams are skilled and responsive so you can get your site back up and running quickly and easily. I didn’t see any type of knowledgebase or FAQ or anything like that to help users if they need it, but the overall support services are in line with what you would expect from any hosting company.
On average the prices are a little lower than what you would expect to see with other companies. They start at just 2.50 GBP per month and go up from there based on the services you need. For dedicated servers the price starts at 85 BBP per month. When you compare the price to the features you will see that you’re getting a pretty good deal no matter which package you choose.
This is another one of those companies that just does a good job with the services they offer. You won’t run into issues and your site should just stay up and running smoothly at all times. That being said, they aren’t the cheapest, the fastest or the best out there so if that is what you’re looking for, this might not be the place. If you just need good quality hosting, however, this could be the perfect solution for you.
