Terrible Support!!!

The worst support I've ever encountered in a hosting company, cancelled after dozens of emails asking them to fix their server issues.
As you know cPanel suddenly hike price by 800%+ so we are very busy in migrating data of clients.

Support Is Nonexistent

Signed up for a reseller account on 10/24/19. WHM didn't have it's permissions set correctly so I was unable to create accounts, etc. It was just an empty WHM page with only the plugins portion showing. I contacted support to get ...Read Morethis fixed and didn't hear back for 3 days. I then bumped up the ticket and finally after 24 hours, got a reply and the issue was fixed. That took 4 days to get resolved so that was 4 days that I couldn't use the service I paid for. I then submitted another ticket requesting accounts to be restored since it stated Free Migration, but it has since been going on 6 days and I have STILL not gotten a reply.

"Dewlance® provides 24 hour support. You can receive support via Email, Ticket System and Forum." This is not the case. I didn't even get to use their services because support is just not there...at all.

I have requested to cancel the account and get a refund and we shall see how many weeks it takes for that to be noticed.
Your money was refunded. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bad Host

Dewlance are a cheap host, i went with them as it seemed like a good deal, i needed hosting that was local and everyone in my country was charging more than double for the same setup, what a mistake that was.
First off was the se...Read Moretup, this had to be manually done as their system could not automatically setup an account, this took over 3 days to have completed, in this time i thought about canceling and taking my money back but thought for the small cost that it was i would try them out for the month.
After the first month i decided that all was good and started to move my websites and customers over, this process was not too bad they responded within a timely manner and everything worked out well.
After a couple of days i noticed that my customers were having issues logging into the server, the firewall would constantly block anyone who had email open and tried to login to their cPanel, asking for them to be unblocked went un-noticed for days and customers randomly started getting access again.
Over time everything seemed fine, that was until around end of 2018 when all of a sudden cPanel was no longer valid, by this i mean we could not login get emails or access any website, this went on for a couple of weeks when finally i had enough and made a few posts on web forums and social media, their response was that cPanel had locked their account for no reason, when in reality they just had not paid their bills.
Then we turn to now and the reason i am posting this bad review.
Start of 2019 i get an email telling me that my customers website had been suspended due to hosting hacking files, i thought this to be out of the ordinary and went to check what was going on, only to find i had been locked out of accessing his website and files, we both lost access to everything he had, he informed me that he only hosts a wordpress site which he uses for development and that he mainly uses his account for Emails to which he needed access back as those were important.
Sending in a support ticket i was thinking ok its just been suspended then someone should be online to check tickets, i was wrong, 24 hours later ive still not heard back and now my customer has moved his domain and hosting to another company, he tells me he still needs his emails but in the meantime hes going to use the other host to keep his business running.
I find it really appauling that dewlance thinks they can run a hosting company the way they do, they have little to none support, contacting them takes way too long to get a response back, on top of this loosing all your major customers due to a hosting company that cannot setup their systems correctly or provide decent support is not on.

I suspect that they will try and respond to any of these reviews and put the blame back on me, i dont care if they do i just hope that everyone who is looking for a host reads this and stays well clear of them.
Spend the extra few $ a month and get a decent host who has a support team, if you are unsure ask them before buying and dont fall into the trap i did.
We are unable to find your account, Can you provide ticket ID so I can check it? We need to fix all our issues.

Nothing to complain

I am coming from Germany, and for my needs Dewlance hosting is a good thing. When there was a problem, it has been fixed quick after I opened a ticket. So I have nothing to complain so far until this day.

RESOLVED: Support is pathetically slow

They just suspended my service and now I am waiting since last 72hrs but no response from support. I would rather rate them 0 star if that was an option.

RESOLVED with compensation but I hope that is because of the problem and not because of this review.

I think you made an mistake, Purchased ...Read Morehosting in August and paid invoice of that service after 29 days 23 hours and there was already due invoice for that service to renew it for next 30 days.

Strange thing that your service was suspended within hours after you paid your invoice.

Thank you for that, but in my view, don't you think your system should automatically renew the period when bill is paid?
As I said, You paid your invoice after 29 days but there was already 1 due invoice for previous month so it was suspended your service for "unpaid overdue invoice". (Invoice was cancelled by me)

Strong, Fast and Efficient

There isn’t much in the form of reviews that we can really go by at the moment, not reviews that we can take as creditable anyway. However, they do state that a 99.9% uptime is guaranteed with their servers, and they boast that stability is a central part to their product solutions. With continual server upgrades and backups on hand, Dewlance are going places.


Plenty of Features to Get Stuck Into

Under the shared hosting platform you will be greeted with plenty of features that will have you nodding your head (especially when you move on to the price). Whether its CPanel you need as a fundamental part of your server management, or plenty of databases to shake a stick at, Dewlance have ticked off a lot of basic features. The only area they lack is disk space, which for small sites that only need 1GB is fine, but for sites that require ten times more than that, then Dewlance probably isn’t for you.

Shared hosting plans start at the bronze level with servers in the US and the UK. The bronze level options include 1GB of disk space, 100GB a month of bandwidth, firewall protection, free setup and many more features. Two subsequently higher levels have 2GB and 5GB of disk space, respectively, and other features upgraded for customer needs. Reseller hosting servers are located in Chicago, Illinois and start with 50GB of diskspace and 500GB a month of bandwidth. There are additional larger plans as well. Linux and Windows VPS hosting plans start with 15GB of disk space and 1000GB of bandwidth a month, depending on customer needs.

Domain services come at a yearly rate and options include registering, transfers and renewals. All domains have privacy protection, domain theft protection, domain forwarding, mail forwarding, and DNS service. They offer a number of domains such as .coms, .nets, and .orgs depending on what you are looking for.


Indian Based Support Agents

Dewlance are an Indian owned, Indian run and Indian based company so sometimes language barriers may become an issue, and you do see this in the content on the site. If this doesn’t put you off then you can benefit from a client area, forum, and 24 hour live support for technical and customer facing queries.

This company guarantees a ticket response time within 1 hour of customer inquiry, and at the bottom of their support page, they noted an average response time of 18 minutes.


Good pricing options

Bronze shared hosting packages start at $9 a year and cost more as the package options increase. These are very inexpensive options and cost less than $1 a month. Reseller hosting options start at $5 a month, and are still relatively inexpensive. Linux and Windows VPS hosting options start at $11.99 a month and compared to other sites, this is fairly average pricing.

Domain pricing starts at $10.67 a year for a .com address. This pricing is for registration, transferring, or renewal depending on what you are looking for. Other domains are fairly comparable in pricing, but a few run upwards of $30 a year such as a .tv or .co address. Domain services come with many features included. They also have a few options for free domains, but mostly those come with their package options with yearly subscriptions.  However, they only offer a 24 hour money back guarantee for their services.
