Data Flame will give you a 99.9% uptime guarantee which higher than a lot of hosts and on par with many more. The primary data centre is said to be located in London, UK and is under 24/7/365 security monitoring which takes the form of a physical guard and computer equipment.
Data Flame also have multiple redundancy measures in place, backups and the latest web server and hardware in place. All in all you get a lot of confidence from the reliability side of this host.
Features
Site Builder and Domain Registration Services
Aside from the extra services that Data Flame provide, such as a site builder and domain registrar, the also offer some competitive features and tools across the 4 hosting packages on show.
Depending on which hosting package and price plan you go with, you can expect to benefit from unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases, an optional dedicated IP address for an additional cost, SMTP support, cPanel and plenty of disk space.
Support
Ticks Off Most Support Areas
Live chat is available on each page of the site through the third party provider, Zopim, and Data Flame also have several other support options available to customers. Flash tutorials, a blog and a knowledge base are all featured on the site, along with an FAQ section and a contact page.
The contact page supplies a direct email address, UK telephone number, and a postal address. The only thing missing is social media channels for support.
Pricing
Slightly Confusing but Works Out Cheap
Firstly I should point out that Data Flame tend to give an annual price in the hosting price plan section of the site, so you may get a shock when you see the starter plan coming in at £30. Most hosting providers use the monthly price option, but after your heart has calmed down and you realise that it’s an annual price, they are actually very well priced and offer some of the lowest prices on the market. Albeit, the features can be quite restrictive.
User-Friendly
One of The Best Sites to Browse
The website for Data Flame has an exceptional feel to it, and provides just enough information without it getting too cluttered. Across the top nav bar you will get all the main hosting packages and services, whilst the 4 types of hosting packages are also represented on the homepage with prices and features.
All plans come with CPanel as well, so big plus points here. The only downside is that when you get through to the hosting package price plans, they list them as annual prices which can throw users.
Summary
Great for Small and Large Businesses
Data Flame are an under the radar company as they don’t push as much cash flow into advertising as the likes of GoDaddy, but don’t let that steer you away because what they have done with their cash flow is put it into a strong website hosting solution for small to large businesses. With great prices, plenty of features and a solid network you can feel confident in letting them host your site.
The only downside that cropped up was that the pricing was per annum, which may throw a few people as other hosting providers tend to use monthly prices.
