Good quality hosting with some nice features

Curacao Webhosting has servers in the United States, Curaco in the Caribbean, and also South Africa. They offer VPS and shared hosting services, in addition to colocation, email hosting, and CDN hosting. Business services include gambling licenses for Curacao, Mantis bug tracker, SVN and GIT hosted services, marketing services, and WordPress and Joomla Websites. VPS packages start with 1GB RAM, 20GB Raid 10 storage, and 5 GB of Premium traffic.

Caribbean VPS hosting comes offers the same starting options, but since bandwidth comes at a premium, for every 100GB commitment, you get a bit of a boost in your bandwidth power. Shared hosting packages start with 5GB of storage, 100GB of premium traffic and 5 email accounts. All packages start with the same feature, but have different pricing depending from where you want to host. They also offer maintenance and server administration if need be. The biggest benefit they claim for US customers is their information will be free from privacy invasion.

Support

It is not clear if this company has a 24/7 support system, but it appears you may open a ticket through the client portal. It is not clear what their response time is like. They also have a fairly extensive knowledgebase with answers to many basic questions that may arise.

Pricing

Expensive due to them being on the Island

This company has a number of different pricing options depending on where you want to host. They very clearly state on their page that Caribbean hosting comes at a premium and is expensive  due to location and high cost of services. They claim, however, that privacy and security is extremely high, so that is why many customers choose to host out of Curacao. Hosting in the United States is much less expensive, with shared hosting options starting at $9.95 a month, with package options increasing in features and price from there. Compared to the US-based hosting, the same package based out of Curacao is $29.95.

They explain that hosting is expensive in Curacao due to registration, but many Caribbean based companies are required to have Caribbean based providers for their hosting needs, and this company seems to offer the best option  for them. For US based customers, pricing is on the average side compared to what you get from other US-based companies.

Summary

Good hosting with a focus on security

Curacao Webhost is a highly secure hosting company that offers security and privacy to their customers. Though Caribbean hosting is very expensive, their US based hosting servers are fairly reasonably priced. They do not offer many custom options or add-ons, but their package options come standard with many easy to use features. Their support system is not clear and seems to only work off of a ticketing system, and they have no stated uptime, however, if you are looking for security and privacy, this seems to be a good option.
