Great support, speed and uptime!!
ChemiCloud was founded in July of 2016 to offer Web hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller hosting, and Cloud VPS hosting alongside domain services. Throughout the years, it has evolved to become a truly well-known provider, with 24/7 support, a 99.99% uptime guarantee, free domain names for life, easy to use, worldwide server locations, and a 45-day money-back guarantee program.
You’re also getting a hassle-free migration with an easy website builder. All of this starts at $3.95 per month (with the regular price being $7.90), so is it actually worth it?
Today I’ll dive deep into the ChemiCloud platform, analyzing each part of it, so hopefully, you’ll have a better understanding of how all of It works and can make an educated decision as to if it is the right hosting platform for your specific needs.
Getting Started with ChemiCloud
If you want to get started with ChemiCloud, it’s actually quite a straightforward experience.
Visit the website, and you have many ways through which you can start the process.
You have two main options to engage the signup screen, you can click on “Client Login”, or click on “Get Started at Only $3.95/mo.”
Now, as you scroll down, you’ll see multiple options.
Once you select any of them, pick the competent enough budget to fill your specific needs, but comes at a price point you are comfortable with.
In my case, for example, I just want to see how everything works, so I’ll pick the Web Hosting Turbo Plan. Keep in mind that if you do not need that kind of power, you can always choose the cheaper alternatives, but if you’re starting a business or blog, you’ll probably want to offer the best.
One thing to note here is that you cannot really make a monthly purchase, the lowest point you can go is an annual plan (1 year), which raises the overall hosting price.
However, you do have a 45-day money-back guarantee, and if you actually end up liking it, the chances are high that you’ll be using it for years to come, so this is excellent for people who are committed to their long-term plan.
Once you select the package, click on “Order Now”.
The next thing you’ll need to do is either choose the main domain for your hosting account by registering a new domain name or doing it by adding your previously owned domain.
Now, what I like about this menu is that you are always shown a summary of your order on the right side of the screen.
You can always change the plan to 12 months, or even 24 months here if it seems like the cost is too high upfront, and you have other options as well.
Next, you’ll need to select a server location. This is dependent on where you live, or where your target audience lives on a geographical scale.
Last but not least, you always have the addons screen.
Here you can enable an SSL certificate. Now, by default, you get the Free Let’s Encrypt SSL, but you can upgrade to Rapid SSL for $39.95 per year.
Next, you have SpamExperts Email Security as an addon, which will cost you $108.00 for three years, and you have Marketgoo SEO tools, which has on offer the Lite and the Pro variations, that range from $179.64 per 3 years for Lite, and $539.64 per 3 years for Pro.
I honestly ended up skipping all of these as I won’t need them, but if you find that they are appealing or necessary, feel free to add them.
Now, on the next screen, you can enable ID protection through WHOIS privacy.
On the final screen, you’ll see a full log of your choices, as well as the final cost.
This is also your last chance to enable RapidSSL, as well as the other solutions assuming you skipped them.
You can even add a promo code if you have one.
Now, you can pay through a Credit Card, or through PayPal.
In terms of the information that they require, you’ll need to add your personal information, such as First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and Billing Address. Last but not least you’ll need to add account security by entering your password and security question.
That’s all there is to getting started with ChemiCloud.
Setting Things Up at ChemiCloud
Once you eventually confirm your account and log in, you’ll be greeted by the following menu.
You’ll see the main squares on top, which give you access to the following tabs:
Here, you’ll see a list of all of the products and services you have purchased thus far so you can manage your billing.
When it comes to the ‘my domains’ tab, you can renew your existing domains, register a new domain, or transfer a domain.
- Unpaid Invoices
When it comes to the invoices tab, you can review any invoices, conduct mass payments, or even just add funds to your account.
When it comes to this tab, you can add funds to your account balance. In fact, you can add $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, and even a custom amount, which is convenient if you want to avoid many small transactions and to automatically take care of any new invoices that are generated.
One of the ways through which you can contact the support team is through support tickets, and this Is the tab through which you can achieve this. All you have to do is click on this little “Submit Ticket” button and you are good to go.
Aside from that, you can review your active services, active domains, open tickets, unpaid invoices, and even order more packages.
Now, before we get into the website management tab, we have to discuss the addons and affiliate tabs.
SSL Certificates – you can secure your website by adding SSL Certificates, and these have different levels of validations, as well as costs.
In fact, you can pay for Domain Validation (DV), Organization Validation (OV), and Extended Validation (EV).
E-mail Services – this allows you to take back control of your inbox through incoming email filtering.
Website Security – this is a service provided by SiteLock, which offers website security as well as malware protection for your website.
You have multiple plans on offer, from Find at $24.95 per year, to Fix which is at $99.95 per year, and Defend which is at $299.95 per year.
SEO Tools – this is a service provided by Marketgoo, and it allows you to improve your website’s traffic and potentially grow your business as a result.
There are two plans that you get here, Lite at $59.88 per year and Pro at $14.99 per month.
Manage SSL Certificates – This is a tab that lets you manage your SSL certificates.
The affiliates tab is quite unique in how you can actually get paid for referring customers to ChemiCloud.
In fact, ChemiCloud tracks whom you refer through cookies, so the users you refer do not even have to make a purchase for you to receive your commission.
You can earn up to $125 for every sale you refer, and your earnings are paid out in a 45-day conversion window.
Here you have several options as well.
- App Installer
This tab lets you install apps, as the name might imply, through the use of scripts.
This function is powered by Softaculous.
All you have to do is select a script, in this case, we’ll use WordPress as an example.
Then click on “Install Now”.
You can click on “Install” to begin the process and modify many things here, like choosing the version you want to install, site name, and so on.
Click on install to begin the process.
That’s about it.
Simply log in, and you should see your UI.
- Log in to cPanel
Once you log into cPanel, you’ll get a lot of features.
Here are the main things you will find in your cPanel.
You have access to the file manager, images, directory privacy, disk usage, web disk, FTP accounts, Backup, Backup Wizard, and Git Version Control in the files tab.
On the email tab, you’re getting everything you’ll ever need. In fact, you get access to email accounts, forwarders, email routing, autoresponders, default address, mailing lists, track delivery, global email filters, email filters, email deliverability, address importer, spam filters, encryption, boxtrapper, calendars and contacts, calendar delegation, and email disk usage.
In terms of this menu, you’re getting full account backups, file backups, cron job backups, DNS zone backups, Database Backups, Email Backups, Queue, Snapshots, and GDRP compliance.
When it comes to databases, you are getting access to phpMyAdmin, MySQL Databases, MySQL Database Wizard, Remote MySQL, PostgreSQL Databases, PostgreSQL Database Wizard, and phpPgAdmin.
You are getting access to site publisher, domains, addon domains, subdomains, aliases, redirects, Zone Editor, and Dynamic DNS in the domain tabs.
Throughout the metrics menu, you are getting access to features such as visitors, errors, bandwidth, raw access, awstats, metrics editor, and resource usage.
When it comes to the security tab, you get SSH access, IP blocker, SSL/TLS, Manage API Tokens, Hotlink Protection, Leech Protection, ModSecurity, SSL/TLS Status, Two-Factor Authentication, Let’s Encrypt SSL, and Immunify360.
Discussing the Software tab, you have Cloudflare, the website builder, WordPress manager by Softaculous, PHP PEAR packages, Perl Modules, Optimize Website, Softacolous Apps Installer, Setup Node.js App, Select PHP Version, and Setup Python App.
In terms of the advanced tab, you’re getting unique features here as well.
You get LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager, LSMCD User Manager, Terminal, Cron Jobs, Track DNS, Indexes, Error pages, and MIME Types.
You can modify the password and security in the preferences tab, change the language, change the style, change the contact information, and the user manager.
- Website Builder – Themes
You can even use the website builder for themes.
- Login to Webmail
You can log in to your Webmail through this screen.
- Manage Product
This is a tab that showcases your current web hosting packages, as well as disk usage, and bandwidth usage.
You also get access to quick shortcuts, such as Email Accounts, Forwarders, Autoresponders, File Manager, Backups, Subdomains, Addon Domains, Cron Jobs, MySQL Databases, phpMyAdmin, and Awstats.
You can also quickly create an email account with ease here.
- Server Information
In the server information tab, you can see a lot of information, such as Server IP, Server Hostname, Name Servers, cPanel information, and FTP information.
Performance, Speed and Uptime
When it comes to performance, you’re getting a 99.99% uptime guarantee, and this is done based on a combination of LiteSpeed Caching, free CDN, SSD storage, and HTTP/2.
For the sake of comparison, I added a 1 MB website template to see how it would load, and it got A’s on all scores, loading the website in a second, which was quite impressive. Note that, when you have more plugins, images, and the website ends up weighing a lot more in terms of storage, you might have reduced load times, but for me, it worked flawlessly.
Level of Support
In terms of support, you have a ticketing system, as well as live chat support.
In order to access the ticketing system, click on support on the left side of the screen.
Here, you’ll need to click on “Submit Ticket”.
And select what you are submitting a ticket for.
This is split across four categories, including Support, Billing & Sales, Migrations, and Affiliates.
Here, you’ll need to enter information such as your name, email address, department, urgency, related product or service, CC, subject, message, and optionally you can even add attachments.
All you have to do after that is click on submit and wait for a reply.
Then you have live chat support.
This can be accessed at any time by the bubble that’s on the bottom right side of the screen at any time.
You’ll need to enter your information here, such as your name, email address, and message.
Then you’ll be immediately connected with the support staff; in fact, I only waited for around 20 seconds for a reply.
That’s an insane speed for a reply on any hosting provider, and I just had to point it out. If you ever run into an issue that needs to be resolved quickly, they have your back.

Pros and Cons of ChemiCloud
- Easy to Use
- You Get a Free Domain That Lasts a Lifetime
- Excellent Customer Support Availability
- 45-Day Money-Back Guarantee
- Website Security Features
- Free Site and cPanel Migrations
- The Extra Features Can Be Expensive
- Only Offers Annual Plans and Above
Here’s the thing, I love everything I’ve seen about ChemiCloud thus far. The one drawback they have is that they do not offer a single-month plan, which will undoubtedly discourage newcomers from coming to it.
When I was starting out, I always opted for a single-month plan to see how the “business” goes before making a larger investment, and this is something you’re not getting here. However, you are getting a lifetime domain, which is a huge deal, and if your business does end up booming, you’re going to be invested for years to come.
This is an exceptional experience that will let you do just about everything from a single place, and this makes it user-friendly to the point where you won’t really need to know much in order to get started.
