High end hosting from a tech company
AusTechXpert was founded in 2005 as an I.T. business but has since expanded with web design and hosting platforms that have even surpassed their support business. They don’t bother focusing on those dirt-cheap plans — everything they offer includes the best technology with the best features. Ever evolving, adapting, and affordable features combined with excellent supports is what has made AusTechXpert so successful over the last decade.Read More
Uptime & Reliability
Very reliable hosting with great guarantee
All AusTechXpert plans include a 45-day money back guarantee, longer than the standard 15 or 30 most other companies offer. In addition, 24/7/365 support is what you expect from a hosting company that will run your business or personal website — if anything goes wrong, it’s vital that you have support readily available. This is all in addition to the 99.9% uptime guarantee, meaning nothing will go wrong.
Wide range of features for quality hosting
Their business model relies on three areas, with little venture into any other field. Shared hosting servers, web design services, and the I.T./Repair/Support industry. With regards to the latter, it’s a very localized service, and while they can also provide remote control support, most people feel more comfortable with getting support from someone they can visit and talk to in person — if you happen to be in Australia and need such help, give them a look.
They offer three web design services: basic, advanced, and professional. All plans include one year of hosting, one domain name, one custom logo, an SSL certificate, and then varying features such as updates, backups, and more custom designed pages. I would personally not pay them more than the basic plan. It’s worth every penny for the sole fact that I’m not sold on their own websites design and the lack of portfolio makes me second guess giving them a ton of money.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for premium hosting, they have it. While they only have three plans — Shared, Reseller, and Master Reseller, they all come with a 99.9% uptime guarantee and run on cPanel (Linux). All three plans include unlimited disk space, bandwidth, add-on domains, e-mail accounts, and just about everything else. The only differences between the three plans lies in the reseller features, the normal one lets you create unlimited cPanel accounts while the Master plan lets you not only create unlimited cPanel accounts, but unlimited reseller WHM accounts as well, so with the master plan, you could sell your own reseller and shared plans.
Limited support options
They have 24/7 support through their ticket support system or via e-mail, but unfortunately they do not advertise an address or phone number. While they are a completely legit company, they could upgrade their support system by including a phone number, a live chat system, an FAQ, and possibly a support forum. All of these features are lacking, which is truly the biggest negative in an otherwise great company.
Starting at only $9.99 per month, you can get the shared hosting plan with basically unlimited everything. I’ve seen plans for double the price only offer half the features, it’s a steal to say the least. Meanwhile, for only double that, at $18.99, you can purchase the reseller plan. By having just two customers, you can have the plan pay for itself. Their Master Reseller plans only sells for $38.99 monthly. It’s hard enough to find any company selling master reseller plans, but for one to sell it with unlimited disk/bandwidth and for less than $40? I’m in.
Good hosting with nice extra options
AusTechXPert has some of the most affordable, reliable, high-featured plans in the entire web host market. You just can’t find that kind of quality for 10 bucks a month (for a shared plan). In addition, if you need web design services, for a flat fee of $500-$1200, you will get a professional website with a free logo, domain name, and one year of hosting. From top to bottom, all of their plans and prices are affordable and make sense. Unfortunately, their support system could use some work, their testimonials page is empty, they don’t have an address even though they offer on-site support, and their website could use some design upgrades.
- 45-Day Money Back Guarantee
- Unlimited disk space and bandwidth
- No live chat, FAQ or toll-free number for support
- Not much for self-made websites (they encourage you use their design services)
