Quality Australian Web Hosting
4 Web Host is a hosting company located in Australia, founded in 2004, and providing top-notch servers, from shared hosting to dedicated servers, and everything in between. Most of their plans feature unlimited everything, even semi-dedicated servers with unlimited disk space and bandwidth. Meanwhile, they offer an unparalleled support guarantee (one hour or less!), and they are known for keeping their word. While they are based in Australia, they have world class servers in multiple countries, including the United States.
Uptime & Reliability
Incredible uptime Guarantee
They offer a guarantee I have never seen any other host offer — a one hour reply guarantee. While you may not be able to reach their phone number outside of business hours, they GUARANTEE a reply in the ticket/email system within 1 hour, any day of the week at any time (holiday’s included!), or they will PAY YOU. In addition, they have a 99.9% server guarantee, network uptime guarantee, and a 30-day money back offer which you can cancel your plan within a month and have every penny refunded back to you.
Nice List of Impressive Features
4Web-Host has data centers in five different countries (US, England, Australia, Bulgaria, and Finland), allowing for maximum optimization based on your traffic sources. ALL of their shared plans include unlimited disk space and bandwidth, with the main difference being the amount of add-on domains, e-mail accounts, MySQL databases, and so on. Most are pretty affordable, but I wouldn’t personally recommend the Enterprise plan, as the difference between that and the much cheaper Corporate plan are miniscule.
They also offer Virtuozzo Linux VPS’ servers, allowing you to pick an OS (CentOS, Debian, or Ubuntu) as well as a control panel (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Hepsia). Their CPU plans come with dropbox backups, 5GB VPN access, and a minimum of 300GB bandwidth. You can purchase additional RAM (which ranges from 1 to 2GB) for an extra cost, as well as additional IP addresses, and even switch it from unmanaged to managed. The Virtuozzo panel equipped with cheap of their VPS is easy-to-browse and use. Anybody, even with minimal internet skills, can go on there, allowing you to in a single click install something like Plesk or turn your VPS into a gaming server. For their VPS, you get to choose whether you want a server in the US (Chicago) or the UK (Berkshire), both in extremely reliable, hand-picked data centers.
If you want a dedicated server, they have two plans (only Linux), with a minimum of 4GB and 11TB of bandwidth. While it includes three free dedicated IP’s, you can purchase more at an additional cost. They are connected to 2.5Gbits network adapters, allowing for the fastest speeds possible. If you’d rather have semi-dedicated hosting account (which includes unlimited disk/traffic) for a much lower price, you can also get one of them from 4Web-Host, though CPU usage is limited to 30 or 50%, depending on your plan.
High quality support with rapid responses
They have a technical support team available 24x7x365 allowing for maximized contact between the company and you. They have phone numbers, toll free and local, for many different countries, with different business hours for each country also listed. They list their server status on their website at all times, and as I mentioned previously, they offer a guaranteed response within 1 hour (which 90% of the time will be within 20 minutes), meaning you don’t have to worry one bit about getting top-quality support. While they list having a comprehensive FAQ, there is an error when trying to access it.
I’m a fan of most of their shared hosting plans. While all include unlimited bandwidth, the starter plan (A$4.50/mo) only contains 1 hosting domain, the next one (A$6.60) has 5, and the Corporate plan (A$9.95) has unlimited. There are also e-mail and SQL differences between the three plans. The Corporate plan mostly only includes 1 dedicated IP address as the difference (A$14.92 per month), which I don’t think is worth the extra money but if you need the IP, 5 bucks isn’t all that bad.
Their VPS plans cost either A$21.52, A$34.01, or A$63.77 per month, depending on which of the three you like. They all have their own features worth having. The Ultra (most expensive) plan features a CPU double the capacity of the plan below it. If you need a powerful VPS, it may be worth it for you. Meanwhile, their dedicated servers are either A$165.98 or $276.63, with each three additional IP’s costing $6.38 per month extra. The higher-end one has double the RAM, a much better CPU, and overall better capacities. Also, their semi-dedicated plans cost either A$78.98 or A$118.37/mo, which I personally love, as they both allow for many more websites to be hosted due to the unlimited plan on a dedicated server.
Overall this is a truly excellent hosting company
I love 4WebHosting’s prices, features, and most importantly, their reliability. Any company that has a hour guaranteed reply are serious when they mean 24/7 support, and they provide it. I think that alone is worth having them, but if you check out the speeds and features of their plans (such as the Corporate shared plan, which I personally have), it is well worth the time and money. They don’t go down and they’ve been there every time I’ve needed them, even for website related questions that had nothing to do with their hosting platform.
