They offer a lot of customization in their plans, allowing you to get a wide range of operating systems, server locations, and features. They have Windows and Linux plans based in India, the UK, and the United States. If you’re in the market for unlimited plans, there are affordable plans with Linux based systems regardless of location (On the other hand, only Windows Plesk plans based in India have unlimited disk space and data transfer). They also have dozens of different VPS plans based in a state-of-art datacenter. If you’d rather have a dedicated or managed sever with similar customizable options, operating systems, and configurations, CentralServices has it as well. In addition, there are reseller plans based in all three countries with a minimum of 40GB disk space and unlimited cPanel accounts. All of their upper-level plans also include free WHMCS, which the basic plans do not.
I’m not much of a fan of their Virtual Private Servers, only because most of them have very weak specs and rather expensive prices, and even more expensive if you try to get your server in the US rather than India. (They also specify that their US servers are 10x faster, meaning their IN servers are 10x slower and still mighty expensive for most plans containing low-end specs). I am in love with their dedicated servers though, all of which running machines with at least 4GB RAM and a 2.30GHz Dual Core processor. Every plan gets 2 free dedicated IP’s and a 1TB hard drive. They’ll even manage all of them for you for an extra fee. With a managed server, they will set up all of the needed security features and add-on’s, such as the system firewall, Softaculous packages, and more. They feature on-request virus scans with timely security audits, uptime monitoring, protocol monitoring, repair and maintenance of the server and any software, scheduled backups, and much more. They truly take all the hassles out of managing a server away.
They’ve been around for 25 years, so they don’t hide the fact of who they are, where they are located, or how to contact them. They have different departments for sales, billing, or technical support, a number you can even text message (SMS), their main office address in Maharashtra, India. Another name for CentralServices is 24×7 CentralServices, meaning 24×7 support for you. If you’re not in a rush, shoot them an e-mail and they’ll get back to you soon. They also have one of the most in-house, comprehensive knowledge-bases i’ve ever seen, with a huge amount of questions and answers they’ve surly been building up over the years.
While their shared hosting plans are very well priced and a great deal regardless of how you look at it (Plans start at $1.58/month with the cheapest unlimited everything plan costing $15.77 per month(, their virtual and dedicated servers are very high-end type servers. The specs of what their machines run on alone should convince you that they aren’t your generic, leased servers. As I said earlier, they were founded in 1987 and have been one of India’s top providers and they provide some of the most versatile and feature-rich servers around, and the price shows that.
Their cheapest VPS plans starts at $18.92 per month but includes only 512MB RAM and a CPU of 0.88 GHz, hardly a bargain. Their VPS 4 plan is one I would consider to be worthy of use (1.5GB RAM, 1.96GHz CPU, 60GB Disk and 1TB bandwidth), and that runs for just under 40 bucks a month! As for their dedicated servers, I’m a fan of all the ones they offer, though they cost a minimum of $108.00 and run up to $215 per month. What’s great is you can get them all managed for $40 to $65 more per month, depending on what server you want.
They have shared reseller plans in all three countries mentioned above, and all of which allow you to create unlimited cPanel accounts regardless of limitations. Your low-end US and IN plans cost about $30 a month and include 40GB of disk space, while the same for the UK costs $10 more per month. All of their plans can run up to numbers double that depending on location and features, meaning that while their cheap plans are worth it, you can find better options if you’re looking for reseller plans with a ton of disk space or bandwidth.
Overall, they are one of the best hosting companies in India, if not the best. They won’t have the cheapest prices, but they’ve spent decades building a secure and strong infrastructure most people can appreciate. I especially love them for their dedicated servers, even the managed the ones. They are worth every penny, as you get some of the best, and well-kept machines in the industry. On the other hand, I’m not as big of a fan on their Virtual Private Servers, just too expensive but they don’t have as many features as the dedicated ones. Overall though, if you’re looking for quality rather than low price, they feature high quality machines from top to bottom.
